Will I be able to use Firefox with my computer? It's an older model and I just received an update message. Here's my specs Mac OS 10.10.5 Model Name: Mac Pro

 Model Identifier:	MacPro3,1
 Processor Name:	Quad-Core Intel Xeon
 Processor Speed:	2.8 GHz

I've moved my profile folder to a new PC but my address book didn't come across. I've booted up the old computer but all my addresses are gone from TB! Is there a folder I can move to the new PC to correct this?

Changing PC - need to export Thunderbird data and settings on old PC for import on new PC. Have very large data file which has two current gmail accounts which I do want to bring over and one defunct Wanadoo account which I don't want to bring over (possible problem as it was my original main account on my first Thunderbird use).

Every time I open Thunderbird Portable, it says "installing new updates"--even if I close it and re-open it 3 times in a row and even after using Help->About->Restart. Current version: 128.5.2esr (64-bit) "Nebula" and it says "Thunderbird is up to date. You are currently on the esr update channel."

Is there a way to get it to stop updating when it is already up to date?

Dear Thunderbird:

I have my favorite font and it has a check mark beside it. However, when replying to an email, there is no check mark and it is more difficult to find.

Would it be possible to have the check mark there all the time ?

Or, would it be possible to have the chosen font highlghited, perhaps in some bright color ?

Or, would it be possible to have the chosen font placed at the top of the list ?

Or, would it be possible to have all incoming and outgoing emails automatically change to the chosen font ?

TB started giving the message, "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Thunderbird. Do you want to reboot now? (Yes)(No)" I rebooted. Now everytime I try to launch TB I get the same message. Reboots don't solve it. TB won't launch. I suspect a TB 15 upgrade bug. How do I get TB to launch? If I do an uninstall, will I lose my address book(s) & subfolders?

Hi, I need help with installing & testing an add-on. I've co-written the add-on with ChatGpt. When trying to install I get the message "can't install because the add-on appears to be corrupt". I've tried installing with anti-virus & firewall off, added an add-on ID & re-installing FireFox. What should I do? Any help much appreciated ! Regards, /S

Asked the subject question yesterday and got an answer to use export/import which worked fine on my first pc but failed on my second pc today and hung Thunder Bird during export step, first it appeared to be 107GB then... empty. Now there is no profile file and the export now fails every time? Thanks for your help David Leeder

I am desperate, since gmail has been combined with imap??? I have not received emails for one week, please how do I set up my email address. I see top line mentioning go to imap.gmail.com
