I believe I got an automatic update to Version 154.0 yesterday on my Windows 11 laptop. When I opened Firefox after the update I got stuck

My Bookmarks appear to still be available, but my passwords are gone. The passwords are still available on my iPhone and iPad

I have tried syncing to no avail.

I need my passwords. How can I get them back?

Just had occasion to use the word Backpfeifengesicht. Out of curiosity, I highlighted, right-clicked, and chose "Translate to English". Hilarious result: "Baking pipe face".

(The correct answer is "punch-me face".)

Translate is often quite good, but I think it would be nice to be able to report the occasional mistake. So, as I asked in the subject linke: is there a central place to do this?

I have a cmdfile to open specific news websites in a private window. The syntax of the cmdfile line is

start "" "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private-window %*

with a "timeout /t 2 /nobreak" call for a 2 secs pause between each to give things time to get going (firefox seems to trip up if I rush it with URLs using start command .. probably understandable).

This works, but all "windows" open in a new tab in the existing or initial private window instance. I want them to each open in their own instance of a private window. It seems to be behaving like the option -new-tab rather than a genuine new private window for each URL.

What option/s do I need to use to get a true new private window with just the specified URL open in a single tab for each URL I have coded?

I've installed Firefox Standard Stable on Windows 11, signed in to my Firefox account, and browsed for about 3–4 days.

I decided to use it on my phone too. After installing it and signing in with the same account on my Android device, about 2,200 browsing history items appeared on the phone.

I don't know why. Before browsing, I always cleared my history on my PC using the following options:

CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and selected Everything, with all 5 options selected.

The browsing history data only appeared on the phone.

My concern is: the data must have been downloaded from somewhere since it was cleared on my PC. So, where are those 2,200 history items stored in the cloud, and how can I delete them?

I don't care about my browsing data. If it were sensitive, I would have deleted my Firefox account by now and used the app without an account.

I love Firefox, and this is a big concern that should be addressed ASAP.

Any time I have another application open and I pause a YouTube video or music everything on my computer mutes. I tried to disable hardware media keys in config but that just mutes my entire browser

Yesterday had a problem returning to home screen from last website I visited. Was unable delete or restart without it returning to last website again. With HP help located the problem that website had been stored on Firefox account settings. It removed and was able to return to normal navigation. Today 8/21 problem has again returned and was unable to access Firefox account and found out all passwords have been deleted.

Update changed my homepage on Firefox so I have no favorite icons!!! Until yesterday there were several icons onmy Firefox homepage (Amazon, email, Facebook, and others) so that I could just click on one and get where I wanted to go - quickly - now you have changed everything! Please restore my Firefox homepage as it was 48 hours ago!

I am getting a sharp and loud buzzing sound when I watch Netflix on my Firefox browser, and today, it started doing the same on Facebook reels. I don't have that problem in Edge so clearly, it is a Firefox issue. Thanks for getting back to me to let me know if you can resolve that issue, or if there is anything I should be doing. There are a lot of news sources on the home page which require registration or have a political bent that I do not want to see. How do I remove a source such as CNN or The Guardian from displaying. I do not want to see their content ever.

После обновления начали намертво подвисать странички (на данный момент заметил на youtube и в google, при попытке войти в аккаунт кнопка просто не прожимается), как выяснилось причина в том, что новое обновление не совместимо с расширением absplayer, когда его отключаю всё работает исправно. I'm just trying to figure out how I can tell if my up-to-date version of Firefox is actually using its own VPN. It said it would when I installed it, but I can find anything that says, yes, it's running.

I had several tab groups. I open and save and close them every day. but since yesterdayI cant find them at all. If I create a new tab group it appears but those old tab groups not! I've tested troubleshooting mode but noting.
