Why isn't there a simple means to remove/prevent searches for the address bar, using config doesn't work.

I've used Firefox for over twenty years, this annoyance will end that and force a move to Brave.

I am not sure what to do first. I already paid for the VPN subscription. I reinstalled Mozzilla VPN but have not yet put the sudo lines in that are listed in the help on Firefox. Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. So, I configured the suggestions in the search bar so that nothing from my history/previous searches is displayed (see attached image with current settings). However, suggestions from my past searches still continue to appear. I would like only the autocomplete suggestions from my search engine to appear (I'm using Kagi). I already tried to delete my browsing history (Crtl + Shift + Delete - Everything, browsing and download history), it deleted everything but my past searches... Can somebody help me?

A pop-up screen often appears when I use Firefox. It says hat I have a virus and that I need to call a phone number to remove it. It claims to be Norton,but I doubt that it ts. I have attempted to remove this with Microsoft Defender, SuperAntiSpyware and Trend Housecall but none of them work. Can you help me?

I do not like the current Firefox. I am 'trying' to get my firefox the way it was in the previous session yesterday.

For some reason I click a tab this evening and I lost everything. Now it is a lavender color (ugg) and all my information, tabs, everything is gone.

Hi, I’ve been experiencing slow startup times in Firefox, especially when I have my Time calculator web app open. The browser takes longer to load and sometimes becomes unresponsive.

I’ve tried disabling extensions and changing my home page, but the issue persists. Are there any specific settings or troubleshooting steps in Firefox that can help improve performance when using online calculators like this?

How to get rid of this silly 'finish set up' box that pops up all the time? Everything is already green and ticked? and also when i right click on mouse the menu opens but then it jumps up rather than staying with the mouse pointer. I used Google previously and it pisses me slowly off i have this kind of annoying issues with Firefox.
