THE ISSUE: When opening Firefox, (Attachment #1 - below) appears. Seems to have nothing to do with any reality . . . as when I check in SETTINGS (Attachment #2 - below). 1. So, who's telling the truth? 2. How do I stop the popup (Attachment #1) from making it's nagging, inaccurate appearance?
Thank you / Nels

I am running the latest update for Firefox (143.0 (64 BIT) on a Windows 10 Dell laptop. Since the update on August 28th (prior update), my browser has been extremely slow, even with only one tab open. Task manager shows 95% memory usage after 15 minutes of browsing, and I have to end task on Firefox, then reopen the browser. I have run my Webroot antivirus and Malware Bytes, and my laptop is coming up clean.
I am not fond of Microsoft Edge, but I wanted to see how it performed. I have no issues with speed, so I can only guess that this is a Firefox issue.
Are there any known issues with the August 28th update?
Since last update, there is no home button and mouse not responding properly, I have to click mutiple times to get it to work
How can I stop the annoying update page? Once ok, but again and again and again...

Firefox crashed and I restarted it and hit "Restore previous session". It started to do that, but then crashed again with a pop-up saying:
firefox.exe - Application Error A breakpoint has been reached. (0x80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x00007FFE1613B40E.
Click on OK to terminate the program
I clicked on OK. When I tried to restart, all my windows and tabs were not available and the "Restore previous session" button was gray.
Can someone fix this bug?

Hi, I wanted to reduce height of tabs and remove borders in file userChrome.css.
So far this works for height, but was wanting to know if a negative value can be used to reduce further, Also tried some code to remove radius but it didn't work. Remove radius for selected tab and also hover on tab.
/* REDUCE HEIGHT OF TABS (VERTICAL TABS) */ .tabbrowser-tab { min-height: var(--tab-min-height) !important; max-height: var(--tab-min-height) !important; }

Hello Mozilla Support Team,
I’m facing an issue where the contact number on my website is not visible when viewed in Firefox, while it displays correctly in other browsers like Chrome, Safari, and Edge.
My business is called Rama Rehab, a Rehabilitation Centre in Delhi, and it's crucial for visitors to see our phone number for inquiries and bookings. The number is embedded in the site header/footer (or contact section), but for some reason, Firefox either hides it or fails to render it correctly.
Website: https://www.ramarehab.com/ What I’ve tried:
Cleared browser cache
Disabled all extensions
Checked in Private Window
Ensured number is not blocked by content settings
Still, the issue persists. Could this be related to content blocking, font issues, CSS rendering, or any privacy-related settings in Firefox?
Please help me understand what might be causing this and how to resolve it.
Thanks in advance, Rama Rehab

I've used Slack every day for the past decade, and Firefox has been my primary browser for some time now. I've never had an issue with the two, but now, Firefox is reliably crashing every time I attempt to open Slack.
I've tried clearing my cache both broadly and specific to Slack, with neither producing results. Even tried deleting all cookies on Firefox, which was a bit of a pain, and it was no help.
I did read up on some people encountering a similar issue that could be fixed by deleting the Slack entry in "about:serviceworkers," but this did not help here.
The only extension I'm running is uBlock Origin, which I've been running for probably as long as I've been using Firefox, and that has never presented an issue before either.
Would appreciate any help or advice on the matter.

I seem to have installed the YouTube webapp on Firefox when I clicked 'add tab to taskbar' that's new in 143. It shows up as recently added program on Windows. When I go to find the origin it leads to Firefox.exe. I can't find a way to uninstall through the browser or on Windows. Does anyone know how?

Hello everyone,
Is there any software that allows software developers to see what the CSS they are creating is doing in real time ?
Because I can't imagine they're doing it blindly. I see some CSS files that have hundreds, possibly thousands, of lines.
If there is software that helps them see immediately what their CSS is doing, can it be used to create extensions (add-ons) for Firefox ?
Thank you for your attention.

I really like the possibility of unloading tabs but still have them visible as I need to be able to backtrack some searches which are many levels deep. One thing I have discovered however, is if the tabs are grouped, you cannot unload them and that poses a problem for me as I have many many tabs that live in various groups across my tab bar. Is there any way of unloading these tabs while they reside in a group or is there a workaround I have not thought of yet?
Cheers and thanks everyone for your support and suggestions ....

Dear Community,
Using Cloud applications via browser and my mail webbased I have Firefox installed. This browser was in my opinion always the better choice, but last months I experience strange behavior, cache issues, freezing pages, crashing tabs which is very annoying and frustrating when working in the cloud. In the same session it is possible that I suddenly can't open objects anymore or click on URL's, buttons not reacting or even can't login again, even when I just was logged in successfully. After refreshing and restarting the browser or sometimes even after restarting my device, everything is working properly again for a while. I can't explain and my questions are: - anyone experiencing, familiar with and or know of this same kind of browser behavior and - if yes, how to solve this?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Aad
