Instead of syncing my current settings, sync just overwrote them with an old, outdated copy from another device, completely ruining my addons, bookmarks and various other settings. I managed to restore the bookmarks, but is there really no proper way to undo this or prevent such thing from happening in the first place? Is there no way to control if I want to sync my setting TO the server or FROM the server? How such a vital decision is even made then and why wouldn't there be a way for a user to control that? This is so disappointing :(

Trying to download Tampermonkey for Firefox. I'm NOT very good at computers, be nice! Every time I click on the "Add Tampermonkey to Firefox" button, I get "You are not online. Please check your internet connection." and it won't download it.

I AM on the Internet, tried it just now before coming here and it still won't believe I'm online. Everything else does. Why won't Tampermonkey?

I need to recover a `.jsonlz4` file to restore a Firefox session with 8 active instances, as the "Restore Session" feature only opened 5 due to the `browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo` setting being capped at 5, and the full original `.jsonlz4` file is now missing.

In the`firefox/Crash Reports` directory, there are numerous files I can’t interpret, can I retrieve my session data via telemetry or other methods using this crash information. I’m using Linux Mint with Flatpak Firefox, and I also have crash logs containing a "last crash" text file and a string of numbers, could these be useful for getting back my session?

Ran into an interesting bug with Firefox since installing the macOS26 Dev beta. Whenever I use command space to bring up spotlight, Firefox become unresponsive, the beach ball will spin. It will only happen if Firefox is in focus when I use spotlight, and only if I am signed into Firefox sync.

I am not sure of a way to help replicate this issue as it seems to only happen when signed with Sync, but I would be happy to provide additional if I can.

After every update, Firefox starts to a blank screen and will not start loading the webpage url put in for over twenty minutes to a half hour. During this time other browsers on my Win 10 PC load immediately so it is not a network issue. It is Firefox. When I see that an update is pending I hesitate to do the update because I know I will lose the use of Firefox until it is ready to respond. It just hangs with "loading X.com" showing at the bottom left of the blank screen. I have been using Firefox for a long time and in the past year or longer it has become very unreliable. There are also instances where without an update it will do this and the only way I can get it to work is to clear the cache and the history through settings. What is going on with Firefox! (And lately there is an update every couple fo days!

I updated recently the Firefox installation on my Mac to 139.0.1. I noticed that I can no longer print from certain websites using Firefox. One example is from Alaskair, where I tried to print a ticket and it was just sitting there trying. I had no problem printing the same with Safari.

Is this a known problem? Any suggestion (other than just give up on Firefox and use Safari) for what to do about this?

Every time I update Firefox, new bugs cause annoying problems. That's why I usually not updating for a long time.

Hi, I have a large number of tabs and also have pinned tabs. When I click a link outside of Firefox (FF is my default browser) it always opens them at the end of my tabs (on the far right). I would prefer that the newly opened links open at the beginning of my tabs (the far left) but just after my pinned tabs. Is there a was to do this?

I've loved Firefox for years but can no longer use it because I have been unable to resolve this issue. All was well, an update was done, and bingo, I got this message. I don't know how to fix it. I removed Firefox from my desktop and re-installed. Same problem.

"The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem."

For the past 2 days, Facebook won't load when I try to change my page to another (just switching between accounts). It acts like it is changing or loading, and then I just get nothing. I have done all of the things that are requested from clearing my cache, browsing data, restarting, etc. Nothing is working. I've attached a picture of my screen of I receive when I try to change pages - the big F. LOL Facebook on my phone works fine. I've tried also turning off my VPN and it doesn't load.

I've also had issues with my Xfinity email loading unless I turn off my VPN.

So what is going on?

Simply put, I continue to get a message window telling me to update Firefox. I continue to get a response saying I need Windows 10 or later installed. I am running Windows 11 Home on my PC. Multiple attempts to get a reply on this from Mozilla Support. No replies.

Hi Yesterday I replaced my computer. I'm trying to sync my account data, but unfortunately, nothing is syncing. I have all the data selected for syncing (bookmarks, history, etc.), and the logs in about:sync-log are empty. It looks like the data from your server has been cleared. Firefox is freshly installed. Please help.

Every search I make to find out how to Move the Sidebar to the left or right talks about opening bookmarks in the sidebar and clicking the arrow next to bookmarks and choose Move the Sidebar to the left or right. Only after the latest update, there is no arrow anywhere! I've clicked every menu I can find and cannot find Move the Sidebar to the left or right anywhere. HELP!

Hi there, I sound like a silly question but I'm really lost what is supported and not supported in regards to passkeys.

I have learned that Firefox supports logging in with passkey, but where are the passkeys stored? Does Firefox store them internally (like passwords) or do I still need a third party service?

I use Firefox on Android, Windows and Linux, so I would like to synchronize my passkeys between all devices, operating systems.

I have an account at the EU webgate portal and when I try to open the login screen I get a blank screen, when I try to open it from Firefox on OpenIndiana. Of course, there is no problem when I try to open this page when using Firefox in Windows or Android. The interesting thing is that when I enter the following words to google search

the first result is the following one

EU Login - server inaccessibility - European Commission

However, when I try the same thing suing Firefox in my smartphone the first result is

I really do not understand what is going on! Can you please help me solve this problem?

I cannot display Amazon Deals properly that contain multiple he products. The home page and single products display normally. should be. A page with multiple products has large blank areas where the product should be. If I move the mouse over these spots, a soundless video will often display.

My clearing of the temporary cache files did not help. Stopping Ghostery doesn't help either. Other add-ons include Last Pass, Honey, Review Meta and Facebook Fences.

Help is appreciated.

today i was trying to download the "beta 142 semantic test day" its over on Aug 1st. i get message: "the app you're trying to install isn't a microsoft-verified app?" Anyone else get this message? (it said installing from the micro-soft store protects?)
