If I go to the profile folder, exit firefox then copy and paste the folder to a backup location. The attempted backup fails. Something about permissions as I recall. I have tried many things unsuccessfully. Something has changed that does not allow for the backup of profile folders. Adding a backup option to the profile manager would be nice. I noticed some people have found work-arounds but I need a straight-forward procedure for backing up my folders. No work-arounds please, just a simple procedure. May I ask for help with this issue?

For MONTHS now I have been UNABLE TO LOG INTO MY DAM BANK! Every time I try to log in I get BOOTED TO THE "SECURE SIGN UP" PAGE & i AM SICK TO DEATH OF SEEING THAT DAM PAGE! I've gone through my settings, I can find anything that would prevent me from logging in, Another problem is that I'm going BLIND I have a lot of trouble seeing the page or reading what's on it. Trying to fill in a check, an envelope or anything else that reqires me to write is almost impossible now. WHere can I find the responce to my qestions, I have been unable to find where it's HIDING.

how can i force the active tab to show? i am fairly sure this feature was in a previous edition. I have a large number of tabs and sometimes an app or video will start and i am forced to go back and forth thru all the tabs just so i can stop them.

Hi,

I'm using Containers to switch between four different workloads, three companies and personal things.

However, if I have a tab opened with a host that is common to two or more containers, i.e. Google Drive, Firefox will continuously duplicate the tab and ask if I'd like to "Open this site in your assigned Container?"

The tab in the attached image is already opened with the document, but despite that Firefox will duplicate the tab, asking the above question. If I pass some time without visiting the group where the tab is, I have to sometimes close tenths of such tabs.

Any help is appreciated, Containers are amazing but it's really bothersome to have to keep closing tabs all the time.

When I access a specific website the .css files hosted at http://cdn.ct-static.com/ don't load. The Network Tool console indicates that they time out. I have been told this is usually a network setup issue however if I use the MS edge browser the site loads. How do I troubleshoot this?

Firefox just updated today and wiped all of my bookmarks and passwords. I need them to be restored as it included my login information for vital personal services such as my online banking, health information, etc. I hadn't saved this information anywhere else.

The passwords seem to have been stored in a login.json file, however, copying that file into my Firefox profile folder doesn't restore them.

Any help would be desperately appreciated.

Hello Mozilla team,

I recently received an update for the latest version of your browser and installed it. However, all of my bookmarks appear to be missing. I have an HTML backup of my bookmarks stored on a USB drive, but when I attempt to import it into the updated browser, I receive a message stating that the file is not recognized as a bookmark file and cannot be uploaded. This is unusual, as I am able to import the same HTML file on other computers and browsers without any issues.

I also tried using the “Sync” function to restore my bookmarks, but this did not work either.

Could you please advise on how I can resolve this issue?

Hello  I have read all the recovery related articles in the help section of the site and if there was a way to recover, I have tested it. I ask my question once again:  How is it possible that after I log in to Mozilla Firefox and sync my account, instead of recovering the information, all of it is deleted from other connected devices as well? I didn't even have time to make any changes in the sync menu and my account, and as soon as the sync was done, instead of recovering the information on the device that I had just synced, the information was deleted from my old devices such as my Android mobile phone, without my intervention. This is a very big and important problem and rest assured that there is no explanation in the help section about this. Please understand the problem and refrain from sending me links to re-read all the articles I've read.
