This was a WIN 10 but has been professionally upgraded to 11 two times with last just a week ago. I have run Firefox as chose browser for years. Now they keep bumping me off & back on Google. Have tried to ID Firefox as chosen but they don't seem to hear. Even with Firefox symbol on my screen, now I click on it and Google comes up.

 Have tried downloading again without success.  Ff will not show up in a Program search.

What to do?????

I got up this morning and, boom, I am forced update Firefox. Lost everything: history, bookmarks, and passwords. It's suggestions are useless. I have gone to "profiles" (only 2 and none of my information is in either). I am living in Taiwan and half the time the help is in Chinese, which I cannot read. The loss of my information is devastating and I cannot find any real person to help me. There must be a way. Where do I find real help?

I am no longer able to pay accounts using Firefox, such as my supermarket and Govt motor vehicle registration, so I have to do that bit through another browser. It used to be okay, until recently. Supermarket is through direct debit, and car reg is by credit card. I can do the order without any problems, until the actual payment is tried, at which time I have to go to another browser and copy the URL at that stage, and pay it. What may be causing that? I have found Manage Extensions to be useless. It should 1) show all extensions installed whether turned on or not, and 2) Include a toggle to pin/unpin the extension there, rather than users having to search for this. I don't know how to find installed extensions that are not turned on.

The Help says to use the Gear Icon next to the extension. I don't have a Gear icon. I have 3 dots and there is no way to pin/unpin or to change the order the pinned extension appears on the bar. I don't know how to change the order.

Nice-to-have: an option to put all extensions in one place, down the left side panel, rather than split between top and left panel.

By the way, I went to "Show details" below on this entry screen and the system threw out everything. I had to retype it all.

In the previous version of Firefox, there was a location to save current tabs in the "Home" section is that still available? Where is it?

I've attached a photo of the current page, and there does not appear to be a "save current tabs" option

I have updated firefox on my desktop, with quite some open tabs, where Firefox promted that after the upgrade all tabs would be restored. However, none of them were restored nor could I find them in the history. I guess I had all opened in a private window. IMHO the prompt could have warned for this and now I have to reconstruct all these tabs with my memory.

Is my assumption right?

I deleted my current 1Password account and established a new account. Every time I have tried to add the new account as an extension, the old account gets added, not the new one.

I have my Firefox update settings on "Check for updates but choose when to install". When I get the pop-up to advise that there is an update available I select the "Update later" option but the update loads regardless of my choice. This happens on both my PC and laptop. I use a variety of online software for my work and frequently one or more will stop working or crash and Firefox advises that the problem is caused by an update needing to restart. The reason I choose to Update Later is so that I can just get on with my work and then update Firefox when it suits me. Currently, I end up having to shut down all open browser windows and then go through and sign in to all required windows and tabs again before I can continue with work. Needless to say this is VERY ANNOYING. Please advise why the updates are loading automatically when I have set my preference set to Update Later.
