Learn how to add an exception for Pocket in Firefox, to prevent being prompted to log in to Pocket when saving to the site.

This article explains why you are always asked to log in to [[Save web pages for later with Pocket for Firefox|Pocket]] when you want to view your Pocket list of saved pages. If you select '''Never Remember History''' in Firefox [[T:optionsorpreferences]] from the first drop-down within the '''History''' section of the ''Browser Privacy'' page, it may seem like the right thing to do but you may not understand the impact of this change. When Firefox is set to never remember history, [[Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history|Private Browsing mode]] is enabled. As a result, when trying to view your [[Save web pages for later with Pocket for Firefox|Pocket]] list, you'll be prompted to log in to the site and no [[Cookies - Information that websites store on your computer|cookies]] will be saved.
