When opening a new page in Firefox I am shown a few widgets.

It shows the time of sports events and different timezones. But it shows this in a non-local time format - the 12 hour format (so it says 06:00 PM instead of 18:00).

In about:config I found a setting called "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.clocks.hourFormat" but what are the acceptable formats to use here? It's not a boolean value, and by default nothing is there. I tried writing 24, HH:mm, and some other things, but didn't notice a difference.

As title says, on my main profile, i dont see any option to use the new tab widgets function. If i make a new profile, it is there on default.

How to add it on my main profile?

First time user. Setting up homepage. Can't get rid of the Amazon tile. Clicking the 3 dots only gives option to pin or dismiss. Clicking dismiss does not remove it. I have disabled Firefox sponsored shortcuts AND stories, shut down and restarted the computer twice and it is still there. I want it gone please help.

Since the last update of Firefox Android there is a notice with a shield that keeps a running total of the trackers firefox has blocked. Great to know Firefox is on the job, but I don't need to see a running total. Anyone know how to remove this?

Morning, I dont know why but before i reset my pc i had a sport widget with all the other widgets, but after the reset i redownloaded firefox and got back all the widgets exept the sport one, any way i can fix this issue please? Thx in advance

I decided to switch back to "mainline". Opened Firefox after a while. Got a prompt to change my new tab wallpaper, I said no.

Closed and reopened Firefox. Then my new tab page was besmirched with "soccer" score nonsense.

What hidden/non-obvious setting do I need to change to have ALL of this and ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY LIKE IT off FOREVER? I will never EVER want ANY suggestions for ANYTHING for the rest of time. I turned everything I could think of, including the labs or whatever off but this still came up.

I'm struggling with the changes to my homepage in recent releases. I use (and love) the about:newtab setup. Frankly, it's a big reason I use Firefox. I had the old 5x8 setup of thumbnails, with everything where I wanted it and could easily find. I'm 67 so this is probably much more important to me than someone younger, Changing the number of columns when you switched it to 5x10 threw off where everything was, so I had to rearrange. Okay., I did. But then you go and change it back to 5x8 and now I've lost a bunch of stuff and have to rearrange everything again. Can I get 5x10 back? If so, please let me know how. Thanks.

On the "New Tab" page i have ChatGPT pinned so i can go to chatgpt easier, but when i click it it says "Problem Loading Page", but when i search chatgpt on the search bar and click ChatGPT on the results, it works. I tried changing the link but it still doesn't work. It used to work but then this problem just started happening. All of the other links that i have pinned for example Youtube works, only chatgpt doesn't work. I hope someone can help me with this.

When using the time zone widget the North American time zones appear as 3 letters rather than GMT +/-

How do I set North American cities to GMT? I do not live in North American so GMT would make more sense for people outside North America.

when turning "show voice search" to off the voice search button is still present and usable on the new tab screen.

i also have the AI control for voice search off and yet it still functions

is there a way to remove it from this screen as well?

The new feature Sports Widget is too generic does not even state what sports which game is it. Each individual will always have his/her preferred sports they follow so this needs a lot of improvements.

When opening a new window on firefox I see a "homepage" (No URL offered at the top of the page), offering some helpful, frequently used shortcut icons followed by a number of headings, i.e. : Popular Today, Connections, Featured Videos, etc., providing image/links to stories from various "news" or "interest" websites, which I can click on to view. Opening a number of these sites in order to view the advertised "story" require setting up a free, or paywall account/membership, etc.. How can I eliminate these undesirable/unwanted options from being "offered" or shown on my firefox homepage? Something may look interesting, but I'm not one to sign up, or pay to view these opportunities. I see where I can eliminate entire Categories, but what I'm trying to do is block, or eliminate the "offer to view" what I deem "unwanted offers to sign up to view this "story". Can this "Junk/Bait" be eliminated from my homepage on a site by site basis? As examples: CNN, Wired", "the cut", among others. Can the page be configured to eliminate the offering of "Non-Free", "Non-Membership", "Non-Signup" Sites? (Apologies for my lack of appropriate semantics, I'm just a user, not an Internet Expert, developer, or or software-savvy person.) As an aside, is there a way to contact a real live human person at Mozilla/Firefox to assist with issues like this, or answer related questions. All I seem to find are circular links to "Contact Mozilla", which bring me to unrelated FAQ databases, and user forums, etc., where I find I'm unable to get an answer to the question asked?
