Tried getting help from SPAMfighter, but they are closed for the day. I uninstalled SPAMfighter and reinstalled. No luck. No toolbar. Is this version of Thunderbird, (151.0.1 64-bit) having issues with SPAMfighter as some of the previous versions have had?

On Sunday, May 7, my Thunderbird program suddenly stopped responding (neither the shortcut nor the program itself will run); clicking on the shortcut icon or attempting to open or run the program itself causes the "loading" or spinning wheel icon to pop up, run for about 10 seconds, then stop.

I've used Thunderbird as an email client for my Sonic email account on my pc for over 8 years without any difficulties until now, and now seem to be locked out of my Thunderbird account. I cannot access it to confirm the version, although I believe it is current, since it appears to update automatically.

My Sonic account continues to function normally, but I keep (save) all incoming and outgoing emails in my Thunderbird system and now am unable to access any of those, and unable to access my Thunderbird account at all..

I've consulted with Sonic over this; Sonic maintains that any difficulty must be on my end connecting to Thunderbird, and suggested that I might have changed the account password. However, I have not changed the password, etc.

Please help asap.

Subject: Persistent Column and Folder Layout Issues — Not Being Saved Between Sessions

This is a follow-up to my previous support requests regarding two ongoing problems that significantly impact daily usability.

Column Settings I manage multiple accounts, and my preferred column layout is: Starred, Read Status, Attachment, Subject, From, and Date/Time. I do not use Threads, Correspondents, or Spam Status columns. Despite setting these preferences repeatedly, Thunderbird fails to retain them. Every day I must spend time reconfiguring columns across some or all of my accounts — the state varies unpredictably from one session to the next. This is a persistent, daily frustration that costs meaningful time. Most other major email clients save and reliably maintain column preferences. I'd expect Thunderbird to do the same.

Folder Panel Layout Two problems occur regularly when Thunderbird loads:

Folder order — Standard system folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, All Mail, Trash, Spam) should appear at the top of each account. Instead, Sent, All Mail, Trash, and/or Spam are frequently scattered among custom folders, with no apparent consistency.

Folder expansion — Most or all folders load in an expanded state, exposing every nested sub-folder regardless of whether they contain unread mail. This creates unnecessary visual clutter and requires manual collapsing each session.

Again, this behavior is uncommon in other widely-used email clients. Summary These are not one-time glitches — they recur daily and represent a significant usability gap. I'd appreciate confirmation that these are known issues being tracked, or guidance on a reliable fix. Reformatting the interface every morning is not a reasonable expectation for users.

Good day everybody, I am new to Firefox. I have MacBookAir 11. I added the Ecosia extension since it's my main search engine. I noticed there aren't ads popping up for Ecosia. That is how Ecosia makes money for it's sustainability projects, so, as nice as it is to not see ads, I would like them to show up for my Ecosia searches. I understand you can make an Enhanced Tracking Protection exception (and I did), but where can I find a place to make exceptions for whatever AdBlock software came already integrated to Firefox? I play online bridge (Trickster) twice a week and set up Firefox to share video and sound with my USB mic. (Windows 10 desktop, Trickster opened in Firefox). Most of the time it works fine but occasionally the other bridge players will tell me they can no longer hear me. When I click on the mic icon the message is that Firefox is using the mic. The settings still say that the mic is being shared. Sometimes a windows reset will fix the problem but not always. Can you explain what might be happening.

The new Firefox built-in VPN, rolled out to Australia this week, is not redirecting to the chosen country location.

Despite selecting either US or UK in the country list, websites are still identifying me as located in Australia.

For example, despite VPN being on and US selected, cunard.com still redirects me to my home location of Australia (see https://www.cunard.com/en-au in address bar). Screenshot attached. Other websites similar.

Whenever I search for images on Google, it completely breaks Google search completely. For example, if I search for "bananas" then on the main Results page it has some results and then some sections with drop down menus for more specific questions like "What are the benefits of bananas?" etc. But if I click on the "Images" tab, then it only loads around 6-7 rows of images before failing to load any more, clicking on the images that it does load will not open a website or the typical preview panel, and going back to the main results page from that broken images tab results in none of the drop down buttons working any more.

If I sign out of my Google account completely or even sign into a different Google account, then everything works as normal. If I sign into the same Google account and attempt the same process in a different browser (Edge) then everything works as normal. I initially thought this must be an issue with my Google account since signing out/into a different account caused the issue to disappear, but the I only have this problem specifically on the specific combination of this one particular Google account and the Firefox browser.

I have tried clearing site data, disabling/deleting extensions, and even fully uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox so far and nothing has helped.
