Ok, so I dont use my computer that much, but anyway. I get on it today and this "create a profile" pops up. once I get in to firefox Everything is gone, my history, passwords, bookmarks, addons.

WTF happened???????

When I open a new tab, I have it set to the home page. When I go there, it adds the most visited sites, yes? ok. but...now when I go there, it has a bunch of sites past my pinned ones. When I dismiss one, all of them disappear except my pinned. A few minutes later, I open a new tab, and theres a bunch of new sites again, but I can only dismiss these one at a time, and they again disappear for some minutes, or a couple/few tab openings. Bug or feature? how do I fix it?

My computer is running very slowly since I updated my Mac with Sequoia OS. I use Firefox . I have ATT/Yahoo mail service. Could it be related to Norton? What is the fix? What is the best high security search engine home page to use on my mac with Sequoia OS?

When i downloaded Firefox yesterday i noticed my desktop icons the pictures changed to Firefox picture is there any way i can them back to the way they were before. Barbara Hudson.

I would like to allow or block extension for certain site.

What i need is: 1) Turn on extension on specific sites (like for government) 2) Do not load extension on specific sites

So there should be Order Allow,Deny and reverse Order Deny,Allow And two rules Deny *://example.com/* Allow *://example.com/some/*

I had a Firefox session open and had maybe 50 tabs open. I am not signed in and have the browser set to restore previous session every time it is opened. When I last updated the browser, my laptop crashed and turned off before the restore session had opened the previous window. When I restarted it, it was gone and I accidentally closed that window too. This meant the next time I opened it, it restored THAT session and not the one with all the tabs I had accumulated (but not saved or bookmarked). The problem is that some of those tabs had been there for a year or more so it's not possible to fond them in my history folder. Is there a way to restore a PREVIOUS previous session in Firefox or are they gone forever?

I have now downloaded Duckduck as my browser but I really want to have Mozilla's own browser, not a Microsoft-owned or Google browser. Every time I try to download the Mozilla browser I am told it has been interrupted - always when it is two-thirds of the way through the installation process. Why ?

Ive had to do the renaming the aplication to firefox1 to open it but now i cant open any link from all other apps (discord, rocket league steam) and i cant set it to default browser because there is no option to do so.

Why do I today get the message "We have received an unusually large amount of requests from your IP so you have been rate limited" when I try and access https://www.trustpilot.com. I have not had it before today and do not get it when I use a different browser (Edge).

Hi! I have a lot of tabs synced in the mozilla account on a device that I have not connected for a while (forgot it at a place far away). Recently I needed to open some of the tabs and while the device was shown in the account the tabs were not accessible. Isn't that one of the major points of using the sync, to be able to see things between the devices??? My reaction - WTF? It's like the perfect lie - hey look we have your device here.... but it is actually just the name. I am so frustrated about this.... why don't you even talk about this? Why is there no warning that my data is going away??? Why is this decision to delete the synced tabs (not the device but only its tabs) from the account happening without any notice, at a time randomly decided by someone? How is that making sense? Why can't the user be informed and make a decision? I think that's one of the reasons why you lose and lose and lose market share, because you don't care anymore about your users, you think all are idiots and you can make decisions for them and restrict their abilities to manage their experience. I know it is free software but it's getting worse until it will become absolutely irrelevant, please stop smoking whatever you're smoking and make more sense with your decisions to add/remove features and alter functionality. Just one more example of another senseless decision - the time options when I want to clear the history. Just 1/2/4h, since 12am and everything.... I am trying but there's no logic in choosing these intervals and restricting the user to only those.... Another one.... the extensions... it's like a dumb game of hide-and-seek to find their options and manage them or to put their icon on the toolbar or somewhere handy and visible so it can be used as it is supposed to be used.... does not make any sense! Ah yeah and the very very old complaint: WHY did you remove the status bar? Lots of info can be added there and it was VERY useful. This was one of the big "WTF is happening with Firefox?" moments.... only downhill from there. I will probably give up on Firefox if it doesn't come back to actually making sense. Not all users are idiots, give them back the power to use your (still good) software in the way they want, stop taking away features and options. And don't forget the power users, take their options away and they will go away.

Hello Mozilla, Firefox using Duck Duck Go. I am finding that connection to particular addresses within the USA are being returned as unavailable. Trying them over Google Chrome informs me that they are blocked by Google SafeSearch which I am unable to disconnect; Google suggest it's been locked in by the ISP. Is this the same situation with Firefox from the UK? Kind regards. Tim

Hey there. My old primary email address has been deleted, and I'm unable to check my inbox. Is there any way to change my primary address other than adding a secondary one? I can't access the verification code sent to my deleted address to complete the swap. Thank you in advance.
