Since today's update to esr 153.5 a lot of things have changed for the worse. One annoying thing is that Firefox always opens now in Minimised view...why? I've never used Firefox Minimised...so now every time I have to click Maximise. Another one was that the Hamburger menu items suddenly had huge spaces between everything...at least I was able to find someone on Google who had a css to fix that. But the same thing is happening in the right click menu also, I had a css for that for years but now that doesn't work. The other super annoying thing is the scrolling has totally changed, I always used to uncheck 'smooth scrolling' and check 'autoscrolling', although I never use what they say autoscrolling is supposed to be about...something about holding the middle button on the mouse?? All I know was that setup used to make the scrolling in Firefox excellent...now it's basically annoying smooth scrolling whatever I check or uncheck. The other thing is after this happened I uninstalled Firefox altogether, and reinstalled the 150.0esr version and all this stuff is the same...even though I was previously on 153.4esr...and it wasn't happening on that? So I suppose I might as well just update to the latest one then? And just put up with all this annoying stuff. By the way, I'm still using Windows 10...not one issue a year after all the doomsaying from Microsoft [Defender still gets security updates anyway?]...which makes me wonder about the so-called 'security' issues with using an older version of Firefox. Thanks, any ideas for ways to fix these things would be very much appreciated. Especially the scrolling thing.

I need to be able to switch the immediate function of tapping the url header back to how it was. I shouldn't have to tap another button to view, copy, and/or edit the url.

About 4-6 weeks ago Chase started throwing an error message when I tried to log in. Some other banks, credit agencies, brokerage houses also same thing. The work with Chrome and Edge.

Can Mozilla get past this or do I give up and use a predatory browser?

Hello, I recently converted a very large OLM (Legacy Outlook on Mac) to Thunderbird on my Macbook. I added an Office365 (work) Account to Thunderbird, and the Outlook Addon App for Thunderbird. I can receive emails to the Office365 account no problem, but cannot Send emails from the Thunderbird (Host) Office365 email, unless I select the Default Outgoing Server which is a different email. I have reset Passwords, related Server settings, and Account Config settings numerous times.

The only other option is to send from the Outlook Addon App ,,, this works fine, But I cannot access the Thunderbird Local Folders from the Outlook Addon.

Any assistance with this issue is truly appreciated. TD

As much as I hate ads on YouTube I don't want Firefox to block the ads because if they find out you are blocking ads they will block you from Google and YouTube. I have Google pages and other things on their sites that have been there for years. Plus, I feel like I'm stealing a service by not lets the ads run that pays their bills and the content creators on YouTube. Please tell me where in Firefox I can turn the ads back on.

I have used Mozilla products since Netscape Navigator came out in 1995 I think it was. I went to a local internet provider and brought home a 3.5in Diskette and it loaded Netscape Navigator with my info all filled in for email, Usenet, Webpage publishing and a few Bookmarks to get started. I still use SeaMonkey for my email because it still has email addresses from the 1990's. I have Thunderbird for email on my phone. Anyway, thank you for all your work over the years. I just purchased a new PC. HP OmniDesk Slim model with Intel Core 13, Win 11 home version, 8 GB DDR5, 512 GB SSD. I just read a previous article, "Move Thunderbird data to a new computer." When you make the move, does it also bring your account settings with the move? And by the move, I mean copying and pasting from old PC to new PC. Or do I enter this info manually? I am moving data from old HP w/win 10 originally installed, to new HP w/win 11. I also read a previous article on forum, "An alternative method for manual transfer between Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers." This was also included in this article. "This section assumes you have a default Windows installation and will work on computers upgraded to Windows 10 from previous Windows versions." My old computer had win 10 originally installed, not upgraded, (as stated above). Any info/help you can offer will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Until recent updates gmail worked normally but over the last several updates the screen is now impossible to read. In Safari gmail is still readable, This seems like a settings problem or a bug. Does anyone know if others are having the same problem or how to try to fix it,, or report it?

How do I set up Thunderbird so that no incoming email is automatically diverted to my spam folder?

I like TB flagging incoming emails that it thinks is spam, but I don't want TB to automatically divert any emails into the Spam folder. Is this possible?

I use four email accounts on TB. I'd like to set this up for all four accounts.

On my webpages Firefox loads everything except for the images on my individual product pages. They show up fine on other browsers and on my Firefox on Android tablet. This has only happened since the update to "158.0 (aarch64)" which is only on my MacBookAir. The images below show how it looks now and how it should be.

I started to try free 50GB a month Firefox VPN to use the website in Japan (free TV programs only available in Japan but are allowed to watch through VPN). It was working for about a month but now it seems to be blocked. I tried suggested troubleshooting like clearing cash, quitting and opening Firefox, closing VPN, changing location setting and back to Japan etc. Is it because free? It was working when I was subscribing NordVPN. So, it's not the website issue. I would like to know why it is not working now. Thank you

I received a message with a password-protected attachment, and opened it in Thunderbird (in Windows 11).

I found that the password I'd been sent did not work with the attachment. I inadvertently closed the Thunderbird app with the password prompt still open.

When I tried to open Thunderbird again it tried to load the attachment and then just hangs indefinitely. Using safe mode has the same result.

Please can you suggest a solution?

I am transferring thunderbird to a new computer. I copied the Thunderbird profile from the old computer to the new computer but most of the old messages are not showing up. I uninstalled thunderbird from the new computer and reinstalled it and again copied the old profile but still the old messages are not there. How can I get them on the new computer?
