Pop or Imap mail account?
If Pop mail account in OE, have you got settings to 'Leave messages on the server'. Because if not, then after downloading to OE those emails might have been deleted off the server, so cannot be downloaded from server to Thunderbird.
When you try to GetMail in Thunderbird, what does it say in the bottom status bar...connecting...connected..checking...etc.
do you get an error message. if yes, what is it...word for word?
