We are travelling in France. We bought wifi internet connection Pay as you go for our android. When we tried to tether to laptop data allowance dissapeared

We returned to the supermarket and got them to reinstall our data, they said we could not tether in France? Is there a trick that we could use to tether our internet allowance on our laptop so that myself and my wife can both use our data at the same time? We have a galaxy samsung smartphone and a toshiba laptop using windows. Somebody told us we can make our laptop show up as an android device to achieve our goal?

I wouldnt think this is related to Firefox, it would be your carrier you'd have to talk to on such issue.
