Is there a way to hear sounds in FF while using ASIO drivers for system audio ?

I'd like to be able to hear sounds from FF (audio /mp3 , audio from video ) when using music applications which perform better with ASIO drivers - ASIO4ALL.

At present I can only get audio out of FF if using system primary sound driver : when I switch to ASIO or ASIO4ALL I get audio from music apps, but lose audio in FF.

Is there a way to set the FF audio handler to pick up whatever the system is using for sound - or specifically to choose which installed sound drivers to work with ?

Thanks.

So in Windows 7 after opening control panel / sounds / playback , then selecting the appropriate playback device/ speakers, then properties / advanced , then deselecting "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device", the issue is fixed - ASIO through DAW software while audio playback continues in FF, if I use ASIO drivers supplied with sound hardware - UX1. First testing, though, shows this not working with ASIO4ALL - perhaps a Windows and not a FF issue ...
