Installed FF4 on Windows 7 and FF stored passwords now gone, any way to recover them?

Installed FF4 over FF 3.6.13 on Windows 7 machine at home. Lost means of storing passwords via Norton Toolbar but the bigger issue for me is that the FF stored password manager did not retain passwords from previous FF 3.6.13 installation.

Is there any way to recover them?

I know Norton is working their issue and will have a fix out in early May, but have read nothing about the FF password issue I have in any of the forums I've searched.

I am posting this question from my work PC, so any of the information shown regarding current browser and OS are not correct. This problem did NOT occur on my work PC when I installed FF4. Not sure what the difference besides OS was, XP vs 7? I use most of same Add-ons at work as I do at home.

FYI... More information on this issue...

I checked the location of the key and signon files and the stored passwords are not in them.

I created a new profile to start fresh but would still like to be able to restore the stored passwords from my previous installation of FF 3.6.13.
