1. you need first install Thunderbird https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-thunderbird-on-mac

2. you configure it to use your email address https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatic-account-configuration

Now you can test send and receive emails with Thunderbird.

There is currently no version of Thunderbird that runs on iOS or iPadOS. One is in the works, but there is no published ETA yet,
