Thunderbird on my wifes machine wont open

When we try to open Thunderbird on my wifes machine we get the message: Thunderbird.exe Entry point not found The procedure point get_bridge could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library c:\programe Files (x86)\mozilla thunderbird\xul.dll

the next screen says: Couldntload XPCOM.

My suggestion is to do a reinstall, as what you're describing seems like a Windows issue.

Everything else works, it is just Thunderbird that wont open.

Go to thunderbird.net, download a fresh copy and reinstll. That is what was intended in the last response to you I am sure. You reply leads me to think you did not understand the answer to say that.

Tell me your error message and I can advise better.
