Recently when launching Firefox, rather than opening to my pinned tab, it now opens, in addition, an unwanted New Tab. I can't find a setting to stop this.

Right, I don't think it can be changed.

Yes. If you close Firefox with only pinned-tabs open then Firefox will open a normal tab on the next start.

Here's the strange thing, for the last couple years this wasn't happening, it was opening just to the pinned tab, no other tabs opened. I guess then that what was happening before was the glitch!
