Account settings shows only Junk Settings and Disk Space. Can't send or receive.
I was trying to rename accounts, and wound up with a mess. Account Settings shows only Junk Settings and Disk Space and Outgoing Server.
I've configured the outgoing server properly--I have another computer using this email and I did it the same way. But I can no longer configure the incoming server. Or even see options to configure it.
HELP!
Thanks
dave

'Local Folders' account will only show 'Junk Settings' and 'Disc Space' Outgoing Servers (SMTP) will be below.
If there are no mail accounts listed above default 'Local Folders' special account then it sounds like you have removed your mail accounts.
Imap mail accounts can be added again and will reconnect to show what is on server as all emails are stored on server.
Removed Pop mail accounts may still have the emails stored within the profile folders and you should be able to hook up to them again. Basically create new pop mail accounts and then in 'Server Settings' direct the 'Local directory' to see the original one. Exit and restart Thunderbird. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I followed your instructions carefully, and now all is working just fine and I'm able to access all of my folders.
Thank you again! This was a very serious problem, and I am grateful for your help.
