I am having problem in transferring Thunderbird to a new PC.

I have tried to move Thunderbird messages to a new computer. Only one of my email accounts appears to have migrated -with the current Inbox on my old computer. None of my Local Folders appear to have migrated either. I presume it is possible to move the whole package I.e. all e-mail accounts and the important history in "Local Foldesr" Can anybody please advise me what I have done wrong (or not done!!).
