Wrong message displayed when I select one in Thunderbird. How can this be fixed?

This is a new problem. Whenever I select a message in Thunderbird, the wrong message is displayed. In other words, there is no relationship between the subject line and the actual message that Thunderbird is associating with that subject line. It's all jumbled up!!!

Is there a way to fix this? I am using imap.

Sounds like folder corruption. Right click the problem folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder. Be prepared to lose messagesmif the corruption is too bad.

You could try moving messages to a different folder to see if you can save any good ones.
