Can't you add a download manager like idm in firefox?

If you can,why don't you do that? You can make a open source download manager like open source browser and embedded it with Firefox. am i wrong?

I have had a look into download managers over at the Firefox Add-ons site and have found quite a few extensions that might help.

Firefox already includes some download management options and these extensions (either on their own or with others) will extend this.

I have had a look into download managers over at the Firefox Add-ons site and have found quite a few extensions that might help.

Firefox already includes some download management options and these extensions (either on their own or with others) will extend this.
