Firefox for Android helps protect you from online tracking while you browse. The Trackers blocked widget gives you a quick look at how many trackers Firefox has blocked and lets you see more information about the types of trackers detected.
You can find the widget on both the Firefox homepage and in the tabs tray.
View your blocked tracker count
The Trackers blocked widget shows:
- The number of trackers Firefox has blocked in the last week.
- The total number of trackers Firefox has blocked since you first installed the app.
You can view this information from the Firefox homepage or the tabs tray.

- Open the Firefox homepage or tabs tray.
- Find the Trackers blocked widget.
- Tap the widget to see more details.

What do the tracker categories mean?
The Trackers blocked details can include several types of tracking technologies:
- Cross-site tracking cookies: Cookies that can be used to track your activity across different websites.
- Social media trackers: Tracking elements from social networks that can follow your browsing activity across websites.
- Fingerprinters: Scripts that collect information about your browser and device to create a profile that can be used to identify you.
- Tracking content: Tracking code that can be included in content such as ads, videos, and other elements on a webpage.
The categories you see depend on the trackers Firefox has detected and blocked while you browse.
