Earlier Firefox versions 3.x, 4.0.x, _ _ _ 11.0.x, etc. are no longer maintained with Security and Stability updates and therefore contain Security Vulnerabilities that are known and could be exploited by some websites to gain unauthorized access to information or to disrupt critical processing. Only the Latest version Firefox 12.0 is secure against these known vulnerabilities. See these articles for some guidance:

What are the problems you are facing while using Firefox 12 ?? We might be able to help you resolve those issues.
Crashing randomly 10-20 mins after being on a website or crashing within minutes of logging onto websites, lack of speed, unable to connect to previously daily used websites .... eg: Mathletics, Lego, Youtube. Unable to download pictures on news websites. we had similar issues when we upgraded to v12 at the office also.
Perform the suggestions mentioned below:
1) Uninstall Firefox as described in this article -> Uninstall Firefox from your computer
- Restart your system
2) Download latest Firefox version from the following link using some other Web Browser:
3) Install Firefox 12 as described in this article -> Installing Firefox
- DON'T START FIREFOX YET
4) Create a New Firefox Profile as described in the following article:
- Basic Troubleshooting - Make a New Profile
- Now start Firefox using this newly created profile.
Check and tell if its working.
-> IF that New Profile works then you can recover your History, Bookmarks and Passwords from the Old Profile.
you can also try Beta (13) or Aurora (14) if youre interested or the Extended Support Release which is basically Firefox 10 that still gets security updates: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/faq/
Can not move or arrange items in navigation toolbar.
@irontiger5280 -> This can be a problem with the file "localstore.rdf"
Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following article:
- Corrupt localstore.rdf -> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf
Check and tell if its working.
