Such a message comes from the server you try to connect or from another server in between that isn't able to handle your request. This is usually not about adding a certificate exception. It can happen if the server is overloaded and best is trying to refresh the page and bypass the cache or try at a later time in case there was a problem on the server.
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
