Yesterday I had trouble loading Firefox on my MacBook Pro laptop and left you a message after following the instructions from a live chat volunteer and have not heard back yet. Today, while I was working off of Firefox on my desktop iMac, i wanted to open a new window and got the following URL message: "Problem loading page - jar:file:///Usera/bradleysevin/Desktop/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/omni.jar!/browserconfig.properties." Now, what do I do???? I'm accessing Firefox through an alternative Safari internet connection;but, Firefox is the connection I would prefer. Please, HELP! Helplessly, Brad Sevin

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I went back to support comments and from there did the following: Tried to sign into Firefox. The URL read: "Unable to load page." I clicked on Firefox on the top line and then on "Preferences" Once the first screen came up, The line for login address read: "jar:...." I changed it to: http://google.com/firefox an>d then clicked on File>New Window and the homepage came up. I quit Firefox and then logged in using the Firefox icon and no further problems. I hope this is helpful to some others. I did not have any success when I had trried the reccommendation to sign in in the Safe Mode.
