Hi, that's not our extension. It may have been installed on one of your other devices and synced over. It's good that you removed it. For blocking ads we only can advice uBlock Origin, it's free.

Hi Regina, Mozilla wouldn't sell you any AD block plus, I wonder if this is an add or someone is pretending to be Mozilla to sell you something. Could you add a screenshot on what you see?
Yes, with signing in to Mozilla it was added , immediately quoting the cost per month. I have removed the AD block plus. I hope it works . Can you please doublecheck? Thank you

Sign into Mozilla what? do you mean Mozilla Account?
If so I agree this could be syncing with another device that has the Adblock Plus extension installed.
The third-party Adblock Plus extension is free to install and use as you can see at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
Thank you for all your valuable replies. to TryDaniu; the U block Origin seems to be only for Android so far.
And yes , I signed, for the first time, into the Mozilla account, - the reason being ,---I had trouble paying through my bank. They are now working on getting Firefox to yield to whichever obstacle it newly presented ,----
Oddly, the supposed Free AD block Plus told me the monthly cost I had agree to pay. I ought ot have taken a screenshot.
Thank you all, R
