tabs won't open
Often times when I open a new tab, I get a dot that goes back and forth and will not open the tab. This seems to happen if I don't use Firefox for a few minutes. It's like its trying to open but can't.

Is Firefox trying to load a web page or just the built-in new tab page?
If it's a web page:
When this happens, if you click the X (Stop) button on the toolbar, then hold Shift while clicking the Reload button, does the page load any better?
