Email attachments in Thunderbird.
I am unable to open my attachments without saving them first. I would like to view my attachments prior to determining if I want to save them.

open what attachments? The file type is important here.
No attachments will open regardless of the file. When I double click to open any attachment I have to save it first and then am able to open it up.

Do you have an anti virus playing in your temp folder. It looks to me like the file is just not there and as Thunderbird writes it, I must assume it is not available to windows for a reason. Scanning could be that reason.
