When I try to send a message with an attachment I receive this error:

"Sending of the message failed. There was an error attaching 006.jpg. Please check that you have access to the file."

The file exists, I have permissions and it does not happen on 115.10.1 (64-bit) I have the two Thunderbirds installed, one is repo and the new one is flatpak (Ubuntu 24.04)

Hello, I just organized Thunderbird mobile on my samsung tablet. On the desktop Thunderbird shows a menu and a adress book. When I get an Email I can save the mail adress in my adress book. But, Thunderbird mobile doesn't show a menu nor a adress book an it does not use the contact saved at the tablet. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? thanks a lot!! Regards, Monika

Hallo, kürzlich habe ich Thunderbird mobil auf meinem Samsung Tablet installiert. Leider zeigt die App keine Menüleiste und keine Option eines Adressbuches. Dazu greift Thunderbird auch nicht auf gespeicherte Kontakte zu. Bei der Desktopversion wird sowohl die Menüleiste als auch ein Adressbuch angezeigt. Könnte mir bitte jemand behilflich sein, dieses Problem zu lösen? Vielen Dank! Grüße, Monika

I have an IMAP-Account on ZOHO (which work like a charm until 3 days ago). But since 3 days I have the issue that I can not delete some mails in this account.

If I delete them (or marked it as spam, or as read) they turn back in a few seconds as new unread messages.

I've already try the following: 1. Start in Troubleshoot mode 2. Close TB, go to Imap-Folder and delete the Trashbin (I've read this hint in a forum, as the trasbin-file may be corrupt). 3. Go to settings of the account settings (right Mouse Button > Settings > General Information > Repair Folder 4. Checked the Developer Console for errors... no errors shown

Non of those solved it.

So I decide to deep-check what happend and found following: 1. I've deleted an incoming, unread email from November the 7th. Immediately it was shown again as "new Mail" for TODAY 8:00 AM (see attachment: Thunderbird_Inbox) 2. I've looked into my Webmailer and found that the Email is still there (see attachment Webmailer_zoho)

I've done the same for another Email: 1. It is shown as unread, and I've deleted it in THunderbird 2. It appears again immediately - but this email appear with the same In-Date: 12.11.24 16:12 3. BUT in my Webmailer it's shown in the trash-bin

So something very strange is going on here!! Any Idea how to debug and fix this?

Hi, I've been experiencing a problem with Thunderbird recently where replies to my messages sometimes won't be added to that conversation's thread despite being in the Re: Subject format. Is there any way to manually add these emails to the thread? I'm on version 128.4.2esr and use Thunderbird with Windows 10.

When placing an order online, with Amazon for example, to verify ID a code is sent to my phone and is received instantly. Them a code is sent to my email address. I don't receive the email until much later that day or even the next day. Therefore, I can't complete the order, so all I have done is waste time. Is there something that has to be changed so that I can receive emails within a couple of minutes so I can resume ordering from Amazon. Temu and others?

I have imported all my emails from a gmail account into Thunderbird to use it as a static archive of emails. I now want to stop Thunderbird from syncing with the gmail account. I have tried turning off the syncing the Account Settings in Thunderbird, but Thunderbird continues to get new emails that are sent to the gmail account. How do I stop the syncing?

Thunderbird isn't sending I have just noticed that for no apparent reason mail is no longer being sent. There are no error messages and a copy is still being sent to the "sent" folder. My wife also has a profile which does not suffer from the same problem. I've made sure that the system is up to date.

Hi, my ISP has just changed its email server to an IMAP protocol which my OS does not support, they recommended that I install Monzila Thunderbird which did allow me to make contact with the new email server and allow download access to my emails. What I now need to do is import my past emails, contact and folder structure that I had in my previous email client which was Windows Live Mail 2012 in to Thunderbird 115.16.2 (which is the only version that I have found that works with my Windows 7 OS 64 bit). Please can you tell me how I can achieve the import as eveything I have tried on the Import menu pick in Thunderbird does not appear to work. Many thank for your support, Richard.

Please help me to get my email to download in Thunderbird. Since May 7, have got the message "Error with account xxxxxxxxx@sbcglobal.net Sending of password for user xxxxxxx@sbcglobal.net did not suceed.  Mail server inbound.att.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later."

Where xxxxxx is either of my accounts.

I can (and do) get my emails using the AT&T ap: https://mail.yahoo.com/

I have been using Thunderbird for decades, and prefer not to try and find another program, and lose all my existing email history.
