When I open a new tab I get an error message if I do not have the web address. This is the message I get.

ie general search for stained glass patterns

Error Description: Could not process this "GET" request.

Still waiting for an answer to the above question. Why does the page jump back to the top when I want to open a link in a new tab? The link is halfway down a page but when I do a right/left click it jumps and invariably opens the link a few articles above the actual article I want to read. This had been happening for months now and nobody has bother to give a solution.

I will stop using Firefox.

It is the end for me with Firefox, reason Sync and Bookmarks.

No matter what I do, every time I delete a bookmark, it instantly pops up back, duplicate bookmarks everywhere, delete them and they magically pop up again.

I researched the internet for months with no solution, I tried every solution that showed up in search results, nothing resolved the issue.

I even disabled sync, and yet the deleted bookmarks pop up again, I deleted ALL my bookmarks and like magic they are back.

So, after so many years I decided to find another browser that will not give me that much headache...

Recently switched from Chrome to FF on macOS. Running latest Sequoia 15.3.2, Firefox 136.0.2 (aarch64) on a Macbook Air M4.

Problem: When watching a video eg YouTube but including other HTML video, on Firefox where macOS is globally muted and scrubbing through the timeline using the arrow keys, or starting a video mid-way, the audio briefly cuts in (less than a second) and quickly mutes again. I was surprised by this as I expected with macOS globally muted, no application would be able to make any sound.

This behaviour is limited to Firefox and persists with all extensions disabled. macOS is stock with Sound output set to the built-in Macbook Air speakers. No other sound drivers e.g. Soundsource or a USB audio interface have been installed. The laptop itself is brand new and stock.

Can anyone explain why this might be happening?

very frustrated, and pissed at how programmers always screw things up that are working just fine by upgrading crap. Now, I have suddenly had all of my addons quit working, was forced to update my firefox. Nothing changed, and it still shows that I am using version 105, instead of the all-new, better and fancier, singing and dancing crap that is being forced upon me.

I have a windows 10 operating system on an Hp computer. My bank website usBank.com can't be accessed. I keep getting this message: You don't have permission to access "http://onlinebanking.usbank.com/auth/login/" on this server. Firefox 136.0.2 (20250317120031) Update Issue..

Since this update I have been unable to access my gmail account. I am logged in, though I get the window (screenshot attached), and it hangs! I can access my gmail via a private window, though not the normal window??

I'm also unable to get into my Facebook account. As I login, it then goes to the window, which I am assuming should be the window showing the two-factor authentication, though all I get is the information of what the window is Quote: This helps us combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam, and maintain the integrity of our products. We've used Arkose Labs' MatchKey to provide this security check.

I have no problems typing in a textbox on most websites, but for some time now, when I type comments on YouTube, the box alternates between working and freezing about every 7 seconds. It will work fine for 7 seconds. Then freeze for 7 seconds, then back to working again.

Any idea what the problem is?

I have came to ask if anyone else has had problems with downloading a mod off of nexusmods.com and if there is a solution I have been having to switch to google chrome which I'd rather not because its so resource intensive on the computer

Recently, almost overnight I am struggling to get any websites to load and have to use another browser for this. Is there any fix you can help with? Websites work in safari but not firefox.

There seems to be an issue loading certain pages since the new update to v 136.01 (64 bit). I am not technical so wouldn't be able to tell you what sort of page I am looking at. However, the following "dashboard" doesn't seem to load since the recent update:

I have been using Linkman for over 15 years and have a very large collection of bookmarks. Is there anyway to enable it? I'd hate abandon Firebox as I do need this extension please help.

Thought only Ubuntu's Linux Firefox 136.0 was 'unstable' on my Gateway E-475M laptop - crashes, restores session then freezes only to log me out, then completely locking up requiring holding down power button and rebooting...

Now, even Firefox 136.0 on WIN7 is crashing, then restores session only to go to the 'blue screen of death' requiring holding down the power button and rebooting...

Evidently, the problem is not with Ubuntu or WIN7, but either: Firefox (Linux or win version); or, the Gateway E-475M laptop (2.0GHz CPU, 4Gb RAM, 8Gb swapfile, Harddrive at 61% usage, Linux/Win on separate booting partitions, LAN + usb & pci wifi's, etc.) - both OS's used to work fine, but as upgrades to Firefox have come along, they have steadily gotten more and more unstable...

Sometime, I'm only making a bookmark, and it starts this circus act... does it on differing websites, etc. Firefox is the only thing loaded - using two windows on two different monitors ...at a loss as to what to do - Firefox is supposed to be THE lightest-weight browser out there, and was for awhile... the only extension used on both systems is "NoScript" - could that be causing the disturbance in the force?!?

The content of the page https://muisca.dian.gov.co/WebDashboard/DefDashboard.faces does not load completely. I don't know if I should enable something in particular or download some plug in, can someone please help me?
