Hi, I've recently discovered that Firefox replaces the % with underscore while downloading file.

I've read that question: https://support.mozilla.org/fr/questions/1439267 but there is no answer.

Is there a way to prevent that? I use a online tool I've made myself and the % is used as a separator.

My power just went out for a second, now Firefox its acting like I've never used it.

I've never had this problem. Firefox has worked just fine for years. I have never had an issue with FireFox. Now I'm being told to select a profile like there isn't a set of folders with files dating back to 2021 sitting next to these fresh new folders full of files all dated to today.—I don't know shit by the way, Google told me where the profile stuff is or something idk im pissed.

How do I get Firefox to recognize the same old mountain of files its been using to store bookmarks, passwords, and all the rest is right under its stupid nose? And no the about:profiles page just gives me another blank profile to choose.

I did a clean install of Windows and downloaded Firefox, but after signing in and pressing sync none of my old bookmarks or anything is showing up. Is it gone now? I did not have Firefox on any other device.

Each time I open Firefox and type in a search I get a message like something went wrong and I need to verify that I am human. Then I have to go through the pictures and identify the ones with bicycles or motorcycles or Buses. Aggravation which I've never experienced before . I've made Firefox my default browser and I'd like to get rid of the problem. Thank you, any suggestions.

I have been using Firefox with Dragon Naturally Speaking Professional 16.1 since 2022. Never had a problem with dictating into any boxes or search bars before today. Now I cannot dictate into those and I need to. I am a quadriplegic and ventilator dependent and need to use Firefox and be able to dictate into it. Can someone tell me what to do to get that to work again?

Android: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (SM-X200), Firefox 147.0.2 (~1500 bookmarks) - Old account deleted, cache cleared, restart. New account + Sync enabled.

Windows 11: Huawei MateBook D15, Firefox 147.0.2 - Old profile/account removed. Same new account + Sync enabled. - 30+ min wait: NO SYNC. Logs clean, Places DB verified OK.

Suspected: Android bookmarks not uploading to Sync servers. Questions: - How to verify/force upload from Android to Mozilla servers? - Tools to export/backup Android Firefox bookmarks (no HTML export)?

I am running a desktop with Win 11 pro with all the updates. I have Firefox as my web browser and Thunderbird for my email accounts, Talktalk, Aol and gmail. When I try to open a web page with a mailto link, although Firefox is set as default it will not open the link, oddly it will work with gmail. I do not have this problem with my other desktop running Win 7. How do I get it to work on Win 11. Please note I am a 80 year old and totally illiterate computerwise. Therefore I need the answer to be step by step and when you say open this or that please tell me how to open it. Geoff

When I access the website of UGC ( https://www.ugc.fr/ ) the access page opens up but immediately freezes: the screen luminosity decreases and the pointer cease to function: I cannot acces any of the options: select movies on show, select cinema programmes or schedule, open my UGC account to reserve performances ... Nothing works ... I have tried to reduceprotecton, etc as sugested on Forum and other suggestions: nothing works. I have no problem at all when I open the same website with Opera or with Microsoft Edge ... Why it does not work under Firefox puzzles me. Can you do something about it ? I use Firefox as my defaut internet access without problems for everything else ! This is really strange and most annoying. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I set a primary password so that this is required when I first sign in to Firefox but although the request for the password shows up, I realise I only need to press 'cancel' and firefox is opened.

I want to make list of sites where i can off pop-up search bar. On some sites you can use custom hot keys (like youtube), but hot keys won`t work because your keys registering to pop-up search bar instead site, so it will be good idea to make exclusion list, like in addon "Dark Reader".

Can one change the colour of one firefox window to distinguish it from another firefox window? That would allow two people working on the same computer to use individual firefox windows and be able to quickly tell whether they are in the right window.
