i have reinstalled firefox numerous times and checked my download pathway each time but all downloads fail. I have shut down site blocker and privacy badger. I have dropped every type of security I can find to get something to come through but nothing works. I like firefox but it looks like I may have to switch browsers

For at least a year now the download links on most websites and emails do not work when using Firefox. I must use a different browser to complete a download. After clicking on a download link, Firefox will act like it is going to start the download but then acts as if the link is being blocked. I have to use a different browser like Zen or DuckDuckGo to do the download. I have checked the settings and nothing has changed from the initial setup done years ago. This started happening several updates ago and has not improved but only gotten worse with each new update. As of now I can only use Firefox to download links from about 1 in 50 websites. There's not much sense in using Firefox as my default browser if I have to use another browser to download link contents from websites or my emails.

Une fois que j'enregistre mes fichiers avec un nom de fichier, je ne les retrouve pas et, à la place, ce sont des birbes de phrases qui s'affichent et ne correspondent à rien. De plus, c'est un petit carré jaune qui s'affiche devant le nom du fichier que j'enregistre ! J'ai l'exemple d'u texte que j'ai enregistré à l'instant sur mon PC. Merci de m'aider.

When downloading the download shows a where it tried to file the download then a "FAILED" message occurs immediately after the file location is given. This happens on ALL downloads. This has started since the last upgrade. How do I print the downloads?

Today I upgraded to v157 and since then can't download files properly. I thought it wasn't doing anything, but on checking my Downloads folder found that it was saving files in there but with random file names and adding .part to the end. My settings haven't changed, "always ask" is checked, but it doesn't ask me where to save, just puts it in Downloads. This has never happened before. I tried changing the file download location and it downloaded to the specified folder but still without asking). I can remove the .part and the file will open, but I don't know how to stop it doing this. I never had this problem before upgrading to 157. Can someone tell me how to fix this or is it a glitch in v157? Many thanks

up until yesterday I had no issues downloaded data from https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/xamin/ now nothing happens at all

I cannot download anything from any website when browsing on Firefox. My decision is therefore whether to download an older version of Firefox or use Safari just for downloading files, which means creating new links on Safari for all emails and other websites that I download from. This problem is since the update to Firefox 157.0 which has been several days now so seems to be permanent. Will this bug be fixed?

After my browser automatically updated to 157.0, when attempting to download files on MacOS 27 (Golden Gate) the download window does not populate but a .part file appears in the default download location.

Just upgraded to Mac OS 27.0.1. I'm running DuckDuckGo as my Search Engine. Since the upgrade, I can't download files/PDFs from websites, as before. Any thoughts? Thanks!
