When I log on to Firefox on my computer, I have an annoying Adbloc advertisement which I cannot get rid off. I am not interested as its asking for payment. I have selected block pop-up ads in Settings and not making any difference. How do I get rid of this unwanted intrusion please.

I like to use the touch keyboard on my Windows 10 PC to type but when I open a Google Doc and full screen it, the Firefox window will fight the keyboard and close it. I can tap any input field and the touch keyboard for Windows 10 pops up and immediately closes. This does not happen if the window is not maximised. The keyboard comes up and works fine but covers the lower half of the window which usually means I can't see what I'm typing. I don't get this problem with Chrome which resizes its windows even if they're maximised to accommodate the onscreen touch keyboard, which is frustrating because I don't want Chrome to guzzle my RAM. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Was filling out pdf version of 2022 IRS tax forms and discovered leading zero is suppressed in Firefox PDF v109.0.1 64 bit on Windows 10. "Before" image is after typing leading zero but before 'enter' or moving to next field. "After" image is after typing leading zero and after 'enter' or moving to next field. The leading zero disappears.

Saving pdf does not change leading zero suppression.

To see if the pdf document was configured by the IRS to suppress leading zero, I opened the same form in Microsoft Edge v109.0.1518.78 64 bit on Windows 10. It retained the leading zero after typing then 'enter' or moving to next field.

While using MS Edge to complete pdf forms fixes my immediate issues, there still seems to be a defect in Firefox pdf.

Firefox creates a duplicate of itself on the Default Apps section after it updates from a Fresh Install of Firefox and the only way i have found to "fix" this was to reinstall the browser completely but it simply reappears with a duplicate of itself again after it updates and as far as i know it only does it after a fresh install with subsequent updates not creating any more duplicates

both entries just act the same and update at the same time synced with eachother instead of having a separate duplicate entry when you try to change the default apps

If I have the inspector open from Web Developer tools, I can see the HTML elements presented under that tab. Is there anyway in Firefox's configuration settings that we can change the font-family for the HTML view under this Inspector area? (not globally for all of Firefox). Question 1. I see questions similar to mine, but how do I access replies? I click on them, but there is no link attached.

Question 2,  How do I use Firefox Monitor to change my Firefox account primary email address to an email that is already in use, by me, used for an older version of Firefox on a previous computer that is no longer in service? 

This is what I've done. In Monitor, I clicked on the link that says "Change Primary Email Address." It goes to a nice instruction page. I click Menu lines, go to Manage Account, I try to add the email as a secondary, so that I can then make it my primary. I click save. However, I get a pretty red error message that tells me "Account already exists." Of course it does. It's my account. I'm on a less than a year old PC, which came with Windows 11 already loaded. I'm on Firefox version 109.0.1, 64-bit. I've used Firefox on laptops for years. I'm very comfortable using regedit. Thanks. Lakshmi

Is html5 broken since Version 100?

I use Secure Global Desktop from Oracle with HTML5 Client. This works perfect for all browsers(FX,Chrome,Edge), but with Firefox Version 108+ this does work any more.

Chrome and Edge still ok.

It seams the the canvas update fails.

Any suggestions? What can I do to find out more? I can provide a test access, if this helps.

Hello! As of recently (within the past couple months), I was able to go on Petco.com from a desktop. But now, every time I try, the website doesn't load correctly. It jumps on and off about 100 times a minute and never stops. This does not happen on all other browsers. Something is wrong somewhere. When trying to log into Petsmart.com from a desktop, something different happens. It does completely load but when I try to log in, it will not log me in! I am able to log in on all other browsers. The third website, Rakuten.com, same thing happens like Petsmart.com . It loads but when trying to log in Rakuten.com I get: Oops. There was a problem. Please refresh page and try again. BUT AGAIN, I am able to log on on ALL OTHER BROWSERS. Is there a fix for this for Firefox? Please let me know if you can fix this or this is the way it will be for these websites. I have been using Firefox for years and like it the best! Never had this problem. Thanks!

I have spellcheck as you type turned on and it works in a search bar. I cannot get it to work in a webmail window. I have tried with Yahoo Mail (for a friend) and IONOS webmail with one of my own accounts. Neither work. BUT using the same accounts with Chrome I CAN check spelling in email windows as I type. This problem hasn't been raised for some time but I have noticed old posts that give options that didn't work. I don't want to get my friend (who is elderly and easily confused) to convert to Chrome but will have to bite that bullet if a solution isn't available.

In trying to solve my problem, I am going from bad to worse! Embarrassing! Screenshot of Chinese character issue is attached. Also, when I try to sign into Firefox from that page - https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/hi-IN/questions/1381354 - I am blocked from signing in. Somehow I am signed in now, but not sure how. duh! So first, the Chinese characters I need to solve, THEN have a question about an issue with mailto - no gmail default option. I have legacy handlers downloaded, kindly provided by jscher2000. Thank you! Do I drag his legacy handlers into my profile, if I am able to do so? I have tried all other suggestions on this problem. I really hope not to have to start anew with Firefox, because I have years of settings I am afraid I will lose. (Know it is doable, but I am a coward, as well as stupid, apparently.) My Firefox window closes a couple seconds after opening on my Mac. The app does not crash or close, but the window disappears. I have restarted my computer, updated my computer, and reinstalled Firefox after deleting the files in application support. None of these fixed my issue. I can keep the window open for more than a couple seconds if am able to click on Finder in the menu bar before the window disappears, however, after leaving the Finder menu the app disappears after a couple seconds.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

Firefox continues to indicate I am using Windows 8. I have NEVER used Windows 8 in my liftetime. I use Windows 10 and after locating the program compatibility location to change to Windows 10, Windows 10 isn't an option. I changed my OS to 10 in your box below. Why? I don't understand this.
