AFTERBTHE LAST UPDATE ALL MY PASSWORDS HAVE GONE , I COULDNOT FIND A WAY TO GET THEM BACK .I PUT IN 5 PASSWORDS THAT I NEEDED AND NOW THEY HAVE GONE .IS FIREFOX NO LONGER RELIABLE

The past few months, I get a periodic issue with Firefox. I've done some searches and looked, but nothing anyone has suggested seems to work. I also run the Chrome browser on this same computer (I have 2 Etsy shops and prefer to stay logged in to both of them, so 2 browsers are a must). NOTE: I've been doing it 'this way' since the early 2010.

This is a new Dell Windows 11 desktop. No issues with the computer. The browser is up to date.

I keep from 3-8 tabs open at a time. My Etsy shop. My email. My shipping supplier. Etc. None of these run a lot of hot graphics or anything. Suddenly, I see 'sparkles (the only way I know to describe it) on some text boxes/etc) then...the address bar starts with the flashing pink/magenta.

Appreciate some help in getting this to stop. Again, doesn't happen on the Chrome browser. Only Firefox. I've used Firefox for a very long time and appreciate it. So I hope that I don't have to go to a different browser.

Firefox updated itself recently (150.0.1) 64-bit Windows and since then we have US English and our other languages 'Real' English ;-) French and Greek disappeared. We reinstalled them but - sorry about this guys - we would like to remove US English please. I followed some advice from Google but couldn't locate the US-English Dictionary.

Hello, when automatic offline backup in stable firefox was first introduced, it worked perfectly fine. It created automatic backups in folder I pointed to. Unfortunately few weeks later it stopped working completely, no idea why. I tried following support article, which is limited to turning backup off, deleting folder and turning it on again. Unfortunately it did not help. As soon as backup starts, it gives me error and does not create any file. It shows "creating backup..." for few seconds, then this banner disappears and only error banner remains.

Can you suggest me advanced troubleshooting for this? Maybe there is some log file which could point me in right direction?

I am wondering if it is some issue with Polish language, because I point to D:\Firefox backup\Restore Firefox but it creates "Przywróć Firefoksa" folder.

I am sometimes able to open E-Bay, and open individual members of a folder containing over 100 members searches. When opening all the members of this folder, either most of the members will open the E-Bay page with the rest giving the msg below, or all the members of the folder will open, but when pressing the link this msg occurs: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?" on this server.

2 days ago, on 02.05,2026, I was logged out of all my accounts on every website in Mozilla. My history was erased, passwords not saved, but I'm still logged in. That only happened on Firefox, not the rest of my computer.

I am afraid it was a virus or something - can you tell me why it happened?

This AM I attempted to sign into my PayPal Business Acct. I have always done this via password (no biometrics or PassKey for me). Until today, when I was asked for my passkey PIN. I don't have one because I never set it up. I spoke with a woman at PayPal who tried to help me. She said it was probably something that my browser did so I should call FireFox or use a different browser. As for PayPal itself, while it has no record of a paykey, it would allow me to set one up because "this account already has a passkey". I tried a different browser and that ended in the same place. Pass key pin requested. I don't have it. It says that firefox "requested" the passkey. I find that very frustrating because I'm effectively "locked out " of my Paypal business account because of this. I've searched my computer to the best of my ability but I can't find where firefox hid this PIN from. Frankly, I don't see where Firefox gets off volunteering me for a passkey when I didn't ask for it, but not telling me makes no sense whatsoever. Been using Firefox for over a decade. But lately is has become so slow now. Often freezes up if more than two tabs are open or a website is in any way very complex. What settings and issues should I check? What has changed? I can run the same sites on Brave and Edge browsers with no issues or not nearly as slow and bogged down.

I access Bluesky (bsky.app) for business on my PC. Since the last update, I've been unable to access Bluesky from my regular Firefox browser. I can using other browsers, the mobile app, and, oddly, in Firefox private browsing. I've cleared my browser history, cookies, etc. I restarted the computer. I logged out of Bluesky (and now can't log back on the regular PC account because it claims I'm not connected to the internet). Yet, I had no trouble logging in using private browsing.

I've looked through settings, etc. and can't figure out what could be limiting my ability to access this website.

This issue has been happening for about 1-2 months.

When Firefox is open on my computer, my cursor will randomly lower its frame rate to a very low number, probably below 15 FPS. It doesn't matter what I'm doing, just having Firefox open, even in the background, causes this to happen. No such issues in other chrome-based browsers with or without hardware acceleration enabled. I have disabled all extensions and still encounter the problem.

Disabling hardware acceleration does fix this issue, but then the web, and even high resolution videos, become laggy or choppy as a result. Which is very uncharacteristic for my system, because I remember it being quite snappy in software mode on the my same CPU in the past. So something seems to have gone wrong in recent months that makes acceleration in general poor, with or without hardware acceleration on.

The Firefox browser VPN option and toolbar button for Firefox 150 was originally showing up after a recent update (was not signed into the browser), but when I signed into the account as needed to activate VPN, the VPN toolbar button and options under security settings disappeared. I can't find the vpn button to add back under the 'customize toolbar setting' as suggested. And when I go under privacy and security settings, the VPN section is no longer there. How do I get the VPN options back? I tried signing out of Firefox and then back in. I tried disconnecting 'sync' from the computer and that didn't change anything either. I've updated the browser on all devices I'm signed into to 150.0.1. The VPN toolbar button or setting option does not show up on any device I am using. The only browser I initially saw the VPN options on was the browser that I wasn't initially signed into, and it disappeared after I signed into the browser with the account.

Keyboard focus properly defaults to the address bar for new normal windows, and new tabs both normal and private. It is ONLY in new private windows that the address bar does not auto-grab keyboard input.

The address bar is highlighted as though it SHOULD have input focus, but typing does nothing until I click in the address bar manually.

This is unfathomably annoying. I've tried fiddling with various settings in about:config, and I've tried running in troubleshoot mode to rule out extensions causing the issue. Also tried a fresh firefox profile and the issue persisted.

According to everything I CAN see, I have Firefox 150. I am still using Windows 10 and I don't seem to have problems with that. However, I CANNOT get to the Firefox Browser. I am very frustrated with only seeing Mozilla this, Mozilla that, but not Firefox. When I go to the help section I am able to click on Firefox Browser, so I know you still have it. The main item that is very different is clicking on Firefox to open it, and then seeing 3 different ways to login. I'm at a loss, and I'm frustrated. Please help me so that I may sign in to Firefox BROWSER.

By the way, when I click on Themes-Add-ons for Firefox and choose what I think looks like PINK, it isn't pink! It's a very strange purple color. I want PINK. Thank you, RhonCa

i am using fox to open the zoom , but is not working

I am somehow getting the new letter rendering on Windows 10, most letters are very pale, 't' is bold , tabs pale , looks horrible. I didn't change anything. So, annoying, difficult to read. Please help.
