I'm asking this question so I can post some helpful information for people wanting to create a backup of their profile.

If you are using Windows OS and you got your download from the official website: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/

How do you locate the correct folder to backup? The backup must contain everything, profiles, mail accounts, emails, address books, calendar, preferences - the lot. The backup can be used to transfer between computers.

Hi, bit of a strange ome. I have 4 email account in Thunderbird. One is my AOL account and one is my wifes AOL account. This morning my emails suddenly started appearing in both my AOL account and my wifes AOL account while her emails don't appar at all. I've deleteing her account and setting it up again but the same thing happpens. I'm at a loss. Can you help?

Since the last update of Firefox Android there is a notice with a shield that keeps a running total of the trackers firefox has blocked. Great to know Firefox is on the job, but I don't need to see a running total. Anyone know how to remove this?

When I switch to another app on my phone for 30-40 seconds, the tab that I had open decides that it should refresh. This is super annoying when trying to fill out a form and the information you get from another appz and the form reloads and all the info is gone

I do not know is this from my os or no, but this is an issue that breaks my experience almost all the time, and I am not the only one experiencing it.

Hello, I noticed that when browsing webpages in Firefox, a window periodically appears asking me to confirm a certificate, presumably from a website (roughly called lt3.google). I haven't downloaded anything malicious and I regularly scan my system with an antivirus. Please help and respond. Thanks in advance.

Hello, from time to time my Thunderbird on my desktop PC running windows 10 doesn't receive emails, while they arrived on my I Phone 8. Checked my Telstra web mail, all emails are there so what is stopping getting to my desktop PC? I thought the Thunderbird receives emails than synchronize with my I Phone? As you can see from my 2 images the Telstra is up to today as is my I phone But Thunderbird is 3 days beyond. Tomorrow it may back to normal or the next day? I am returning to this message the next day 16/06/2026 1 more message on my I Phone, still nothing on my Thunderbird.

An other problem I get with Thunderbird is that a message appears on the right bottom of my screen: "Mozilla Thunderbird Connection to server mail.bigpond.com timed out" and/or "failed to connect to mail server imap.telstra.com" If I try to send an email after the above notifications, I get the "Connection Refused". I know than to just walk away. I am using Starlink as Telstra here doesn't work as I am on the fringes of Melbourne in a BLACK HOLE. Any help will be gratefully received. Thank you for reading this. Hi, Since approx. 1 month, I cannot receive nor send emails from my Windows 11 desktop computer. My ISP is Videotron and they tell me that from their end, everything is fine and the configuration is fine. If I use the Videotron Web Service, I can send and receive emails using the Videotron Web Services but these are not reflected on my Thunderbird email interface. If I try to send an email from Thinderbird, I get this message # # * * Sending of the message failed.

1. # * * An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: smtp.videotron.ca Videotron ZGdcwFfPIz2we service temporarily unavailable AUP#EML-016.'

On my Android smartphone, Thunderbird is installed and it works perfectly...I can send and receive emails.

What can be done to make sure that I can send and receive emails from my computer, and to keep the smartphone and computer synchronized. Thank you

Hi, I'm using Firefox on Desktop and Mobile. For last couple of months, I've been experiencing a problem of Shopify stores loading. When we open any Shopity website (stores specifically), it never loads. Sometimes it shows blank page and sometimes nothing.

At the same time, those sites are working fine in other browsers e.g. Chrome, Safari.

However, when I switch to other wifi network (jazz.com.pk), then it works on Firefox too. I tried different methods to fix it, but no success. Before the websites were sometime opening, but for lost few days, 0 response.

Not sure, where is this issue, I contacted my network support (nayatel.com), they also unable to figure it out.

I tried everything on my end, but no success. Need your help.

I am trying to set up my t-online.de account on Thunderbird, so far without success. A message appears: Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account. I don't know where I am going wrong.

There was nothing wrong everything was running perfect and smooth but then out of nowhere my youtube froze and I couldn't press anything on youtube tab, I could still close it or press the buttons on the sides/corners but on the youtube, it also doesn't refresh, this only happens on youtube and only on firefox when on other browsers, yes I unchecked hardware acceleration, I restarted my firefox many times, I cleared the cache, today I turned my adblockers too, i thought it turned into how it was before but then it froze again and now I couldn't even see youtube it was just black screen on that tab, like what do I do here, do I switch browsers? It eventually starts playing again after I wait for some minutes but I don't want that, I want it to work like how it did before this happened. Why did it even happen?!
