Using the fireuploader add-on, when attempting to download files from a remote cloud storage facility (rackspace cloud storage) the add-on is reporting:

140105031450_H.jpg (0%) - Failed [Exception... "Not enough arguments [nsIWebBrowserPersist.saveURI]" nsresult: "0x80570001 (NS_ERROR_XPC_NOT_ENOUGH_ARGS)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://fireuploader/content/js/fupXmlhttpNew.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 189" data: no]

I've had a look around the web and there seems to be some 'hacks' for this arugments issue - I've not gotten under the hood of firefox before - is there an official path for solving this?

Best Regards,

Richard Brown

Hello,

Looks that this issue is caused by an Fireuploader extension that isn't working properly.

Hi Aman,

Sorry, the URL you included doesn't go anywhere:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting%20extensions%20and%20them

It's giving me a 'page not found' error.

Best Regards,

Richard

That should be:

That is likely a problem with the Firefox Universal Uploader (fireuploader) 0.5 extension that show in the System Details List.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
