I do a search. I click on one of the results. Upromise open up with a "Continue" or "Log In". I click on "Continue" and it goes to the Upromise logon page. It used to take me to the site I selected.

It's been doing this for the last month or so. I just discovered that I don't have to hit the "Continue" button. After a couple of seconds it pops over to a weird Upromise log on page. It's the below info and it's all in the upper left corner of the page.

Hi,

Maybe you can just reset your username and password with Upromise? I'm not sure if that is the question you are asking, so if you can describe in more detail what you want to do, we can help you better.

Thanks, Michelle

I don't think it's a password issue. Here's what happens.

I'm at the Firefox start page. I'll type in say Walmart. I get my results. I click on the www.walmart.com/ entry. What pops up next is what I'd normally see. A UPROMISE page that allows me to continue shopping as a guest(which means not logging into UPROMISE) or a "Join Now" path. I'd always do the former which then sent me to the Walmart WEB site.

Now, within seconds it flips over to this page with me never hitting the keyboard.

Very strange.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Greetings,

Spent the weekend loading and scanning. The programs got some hits and cleaned them up. SuperAntispyware would not load due to contaminated code???

Still have the same problem. My next step is to uninstall Upromise for a while and see how it goes then re-install it. It's funny how when I type in other company names, I don't get the problem. It seems to be a walmart issue.
