The Options or Preferences window gives you access to all of the settings in Firefox. This article describes what kind of settings are found in each section.

It shows you a list of content types and lets you select an action for each type, such as opening with an application, opening in Firefox using a plugin, or saving the file. As you browse the web, information on where you have been, what pages you have visited, etc. are stored here. Firefox Sync is a service that lets you synchronize your bookmarks, history, passwords and open tabs with another copy of Firefox – like one on another computer or on a mobile phone.
