Anyone know what is happening? In the past month or so trying to view websites on iPhone, even on Firefox has become impossible.

The number and size of ads has metastasized to the point they block out all content. Is this a new trend? Is it my settings?

Who is responsible for this shift — the website ad settings or the browsers? Is it Google further breaking the internet?

For the neurodiverse, it’s an accessibility issue as well as a dystopian nightmare.

Please tell me there’s a way to fight this apart from permanent reader mode. This has vastly reduced our use of the internet. Each site feels like a trap and a scam.

The ads cause anxiety as well as irritation and general thwartedness as I cannot reach the content! What are these people/bots thinking?

I'm encountering some UI errors with the last couple updates. With an update from a couple weeks ago, I noticed when viewing PDFs in the browser, random characters would be invisible, and in Google Sheets I'd notice some cells appeared blank, though selecting them showed that there was text inside. I also noticed disappearing text in a Google Doc I was working on. Now with the update that was just released today (154.0) all PDFs, and entire screens in Sheets and Docs, and other random graphic elements, are showing up as just flat black (see attached screenshot). My job involves working with spreadsheets and PDFs a lot so this is severely impacting my workflow, and I am reluctantly working in a different browser today.

I did a browser refresh, and then I uninstalled and re-installed, and that didn't help anything. What should I try next?

I should note I am using Firefox on Windows 11. I am not experiencing any issues with Firefox on iOS or Mac OS.

Edit: I was able to troubleshoot and fix this by disabling hardware acceleration under performance settings. Problem solved!

What is going on?

I have had a bit of a problem with a keyboard today and tried downloading drivers and reading faqs about it, and apparently as of today (august 20th 2026) firefox decided that most sites are unreachable (which they clearly are since the laptop running win11 works) Why the sudden overstep? BTW I can't access this page on the win10 computer.

After downloading Mozilla app, I get trouble to search through Google page and also with The Lucky Date etc. Whenever I am clicking the apps or even link immediately it's taking me through Mozilla and the page becomes blank (white) without any error information. Please guide me how the avoid the trouble or directly open those pages.

am a senior and need to talk to someone about not being able to open certain important websites - like for my credit card. Most other website cause me nor problems. At 82, and with poor eyesight, the articles are just mumble/jumble to me.
