I can not figure out how to add a site to allow the location there is no i in the address bar but the site is all about location and I figured I not get a verification email to join the site since it is not on location so how do I add a site with no i site is called nextdoor.com

Hello Folks: after having the 'invisible' band across the top of each page, it was advised I reset : was fine saved all bookmarks before hand etc. Now, I am having to log into my usual apps each time: eg. the Library, the duck.ai, the Fitness app etc. Was this a result of the reset: wondering if the duckduckgo Privacy Essentials extension and the FF reset (refresh?) in now in conflict: I am not a greenhorn but definitely not an advanced techy so laylman's terms please THANK you for your help with this.

Created new yahoo mail IMAP (PKCE) account using Thunderbird account creation. All seemed to work well. However, new account does not receive mail from "some" other IMAP and POP accounts in testing, including from TB Pro. Strangely, mail sent from oldest POP accounts works. Mail from newer POP gmail and TBPro accounts is not received. TB 149.0b1 Windows 11

New OS LMDE7 (trixie debian 13 base) Installed Firefox from the Mozilla Firefox Debian Package mozilla-debian- 1.0 Firefox 148.0

I've just installed LMDE7 alongside LMDE6 and want to move the 6 profile into 7. I've exported the 6 profile into backup and then moved it into the new Firefox Home folder (\home\...\.config\mozilla\firefox) Found both profile.in and installs.ini there AND many different profiles. (I had tried to use the profile manager and seem to have created lots of profiles beside the default-release from 7. Installs.ini shows both the original profile from the 7 install and one created with the Profile Manager and both are locked. They are also in profile.ini as installed.

So my Question is how do I install the old profile into profile.ini?

I dislike having my search suggestions show in the address bar. I have cleared the box on the search settings box, however searches continue to show only in the address bar. If i go to the Google home page the searches show on a webpage Any help will be appreciated.

I am looking to Restore yesterday Firefox have lost all my pin tabs when I opened this morning the browser how can I get my old stuff back? Please help me out. Thanks

I'm looking to make Gmail my principal email account, instead of using my ISP account. Gmail requires 0Auth2 authentication, as many will know.

I'm a Luddite and prefer to use POP3, for a number of reasons. Thunderbird works fine (with POP3 Gmail), on my computer. Unfortunately, 0Auth2 doesn't appear as an authentication option, for POP3, in Tbird for Android. So the TB android app forces IMAP on my tablet and phone.

Is there any way around this? Are there any plans to incorporate 0Auth2 authentication for POP3 within Tbird for Android?

I'm away at another location for a few months out of the year. The computer in the other location is almost identical to this one, done in a very simple manner, by using a backup and then reinstalling everything from previous computer to current, most of which is data.

The Firefox profile is copied over and then the version of the program from that other computer is copied, so the profile and program match. The last step is to disable each add-on individually, then to immediately enable them again. (Otherwise, the browser won't connect to the internet.)

I followed the same procedure today as every single time. But then I noticed the blank new tab add-on isn't working. And upon looking at the add-ons...none of the enabled ones are listed (or working). Only the disabled and recommended ones. I don't even know which were installed, and would have a hell of a time figuring out which ones are supposed to be there, and how they're set up.

Where did they go, and how can they be reinstated?

This has never happened before, and I've been doing this same thing for at least 3 years.

When using Firefox to access certain sites on this laptop such as Marriott.com, United.com, AA.com and Spirit.com, after I login and start a search I get an Access Denied message. However, when using Firefox on another laptop I am able to d a search for a reservation on these sites. This leads me to believe a setting on this specific machine has been changed and I do not know how to correct the situation.

Access to the above sites works without any issues on Chrome or Edge.

Two local home improvement store websites are denying access to searching or logging on to an account with them. I have cleared cash and removed cookies and that sort of thing but I have yet to change browsers... Should I do that?

Trying to connect to my AOL mail account on a laptop w/ win 10 & thunderbird returns the message not a valid certificate. AOL support said change the password to reset the account, which I did. Now all I get is " Host contacted, sending login info " & it the server connection times out. I can log into my AOL account with firefox. Any help will be greatly appreciated !!

The site is ok when I open on another window and even on Google which I don't like.

I can receive mail fine. Cannot send mail on gmx.co.uk acct, but gmx.net works on oauth2. But oauth2 is missing on gmx.co.uk It's just not on the pulldown. I tried a new thunderbird acct for gmx.co.uk but oauth2 is still missing.

I cannot get the bookmarks toolbar to show "Other Bookmarks" on the right end of the toolbar. When I right click on the toolbar, the option to "Show Other Bookmarks" is greyed out.

I completely uninstalled Firefox, deleting all residual files and registry keys, then reinstalled the software, and it hasn't fixed my issue.

I cannot find any support forums or articles that have provided a solution.
