Lists it's category as "Stability" when the release notes page say it's for testing here - https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/131.0.1/releasenotes/

Hopefully something can be adjusted or fixed as I don't believe the 131.0.1 should be in the "Stability" category on the first link/json data.

I recently started and even though we have changed the name to mine in all the settings, the last lady that worked here name is in the correspondents every time I email anyone. I cant find it when I look at everything, but there it is when I email. How do I get rid of it?

It started a few days ago it seems like every time I stop and restart Thunderbird and new Trash "folder" is created. I have Trash with the garbage can Icon, then Trash-1, Trash-2, Trash-3, Trash-4, Trash-5, Trash-6, Trash.msf-1.compact-backup and Trash.msf.compact-backup they all a preceded with a folder icon. the list keeps going.. whats up?

they do not delete...how do I fix?

TB was working great until ten days to two weeks ago. Now it constantly crashes, crash reports fail to send, can't open emails, reply or forward, nothing works and then it crashes again. I have had complete virus scans, malware scans, threat scans done and none are detected. What happened? I love TB but it no longer works.

I have been trying to change an account to use a different login and server for retrieving mail. But, it keeps logging into the old server.

In Account Settings, for that account, the Server Name: is set to the new server and the User Name: is set to the login on the new server.

I have restarted Thunderbird multiple times.

Any help is appreciated.

I haven't been able to load my emails for several days. It states different reasons why.....today it stated "Unable to open the folder Inbox on robinstrandell@centurylink.net because it is in use by some other operation. Please wait for that operation to finish and then select the folder again." When I try to do anything it goes to "not responding". You made me give a 6-number code to get here but of coarse I'm not getting my emails.......good thing I have an actual Centurylink account I could use.

when i print emails the email content & subject/to-from/date header info is fine. But TBird also prints the subject at the top of page in smaller print and wrong font.

I like the easy to find subject, but how can i change the font & size to something i, not the software, prefer? do i need to do this in FFox?

Using win10 home, TBird 115.12.2 (64-bit). [not using latest version, because terrified i'll have to spend another 4-6 hours configuring like i had to for 115*]

I am trying to apply this filter but unsucssesfylly. I am looking for a exact number that appears in the message, to move the e-mail to a specific folder. I've already checked usind CTRL+F and it appears. Any suggestion? Here are some pictures.

Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19045, 64 bit Mozilla installed

This morning I opened Mozilla 4 different times. Three times it installed an update then opened. The fourth time I got the dreaded box "Couldn't open XPCOM."

Two days ago I got the same box and just downloaded Mozilla again, it worked and I went on thinking it was a fluke.

I've read the other questions and answers pertaining to this. It didn't look like anyone else has had this problem recently. Is there anyway I can keep this from happening when I download it again?

While setting up the account on Windows 11 and trying to connect with Gmail for credentials, the pop up window is hanging blank without connecting or populating any data. Any help?

I have an older computer and email (giacomo00@hotmail.com) works OK on it. I also have a newer computer and its email stops at 9 Sept. How do I get newer emails on my newer computer?

Thunderbird issue:

System: Two computers running Linux Mint 21.3 - Google Chrome is the default browser.

Both running Thunderbird 115

Both have the same two accounts set up  : Pop3 – gmail.com

Both accounts were announcing ‘You Have Mail” using custom WAV file.

Both accounts are set for manual downloads.

I stay up to date on all updates for system as well as TB

Issue:

All worked A-O.K. until a month ago when one (primary account on one computer stopped announcing “You Have Mail”. The other account (secondary) as well as both accounts on the other computer still function normally, i.e. the wav file is functional.

I have tried everything that I can think of to address the issue but have been coming up empty handed.

I haven’t messed with the css files but have change paths to the file, used a different wav file. Tried oga, mp3, etc. all with no fix. I’ve changed themes and checked other add-ons. Still no fix.

I could live without it but I’m one that likes to have everything working!

Is it in my profile or what?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've looked at other people having the same problem. When I delete an email, the one next to it gets deleted also. This has been going on for some time now. I've lost an important email to this problem. Somehow it needs to just target one email, not any others.I'm using a mouse with a cord at my desktop. The menu at the left expands sometimes, when I don't mean it to do that.

I am not able to get emails on my desktop computer or Laptop. My email address isnt recognised. I can get emails on my phone but these disappear so sometimes I can't access them again.

thunderbird has worked just fine for a long time, but recently it will freeze, then if i keep clicking it will show not responding when sending emails, but then after a short time will go back to working. been thinking of reinstalling the program???? thanks
