I want to turn on my Firefox vpn in my iPhone but when I tap my Firefox icon, I get get the google browser instead of Firefox browser and there is no icon to turn on vpn in the google browser page.

Allnof a sudden, I have no homepage when I click the Firefox icon it just goes to a white screen. I had custom colors. I had all kinds of little icons there that I would sometimes remove and sometimes not remove. I found a fire box update a d it a my default browser

If I tap on a YouTube link in an app like my RSS reader or Bsky, and Safari is my default browser, it launches the YouTube app correctly.

Firefox instead opens the link in a Firefox window with a banner asking if I want to open the YouTube app.

Why can’t I skip the middleman? The only setting I can find is “Block links opening in external apps” which is disabled.

Videos autoplay using iPad Pro M5 despite Auto-Play Video Previews, Auto-Play Animated Images and Auto-Play Message Effects all being turned OFF. Current Mozilla advice appears to be associated with PC use not iPad. Thank you!

Es ist ein Problem bei Abschluss der OSIP Registration aufgetreten nach ich mich mit den iPhone identiviziert, einem Account angelegt hatte und dieser bestätigt wurde. Leider verweigert die Seite ideas.esa.int den Externen Benutzerzugriff weil dieser verschleiert ist? Ein neuen Registrationsvorgang (unverschleiert) mit neuen Account E-mailadresse angelegt das gleiche Problem , kein Kontakt bzw. Ansprechpartner.

Firefox appears to be very limited compared to my past experience. Bookmark icons can’t be moved, bookmarks can’t be displayed as text, etc. I’ve looked everywhere to customize as desired, but can’t seem to get it like i want it.

I've been using Firefox for over a decade and I'm noticing lately that a lot of sites are no longer working correctly. For the past few months, whenever I order food online, I get to the end to pay and it won't complete the transaction, I have to do the whole order again through Safari. Just yesterday, I noticed an issue on the NYTimes site. I can scroll the main page using the track pad without a problem, but when I click into an article I cannot scroll at all, I need to use an actual mouse. Again, I don't have this problem on Safari. Is there a setting that is doing this (I haven't changed anything recently and I've cleared my cache)?

I have Firefox 152.3 (73911) on iPhone with the latest iOS 26.5.2 On Firefox, web pages not showing up when switched between open apps on iPhone.

I've found myself to rely on Firefox for some specific workflows that require sending emails that are generated automatically by a website, and I use it across multiple devices, such as Windows, macOS.

Unfortunately, when it comes to iOS, using the aforementioned website, when tapping the relevant "mailto" button, nothing happens.

Some months ago the specific website that I use, was failing to do this action on any webkit browser, but this was later patched by the developer and the flow now works correctly within Safari. This was caused by stricter enforcement of "user-initiated" actions.

Unfortunately it seems that Firefox isn't either capable of invoking the mail client, or get the data from the website properly.

Exact same problem as reported in 2025: "My Firefox on iPhone has a malware that pops up a box urging me to call a phone number (which I won’t do) about a payment. It has Cancel and Ok buttons, both of which trigger another box from the dialer containing the same phone number. I cannot get to the FF settings or escape from that page because the pop ups immediately come back and reload the page. " Only difference from OP is the server url is recipes33-16045505ea03 . herokuapp . com

The posted solution was to reset history, but I can't get to that or any other controls or the url bar - canceling just reloads the page before I can initiate any action. A similar post suggested installing Malwarebytes but that requires enabling extensions which, again, I can't get to.

Right now Firefox is bricked by this and I have to use Safari :-(

I want to try firefox on my iPhone but I don’t like that it shows recent searches on the homepage and I (or anyone looking over my shoulder) can see everything I searched. I think it just looks ugly and I don’t want to remove the search everytime I want a clean looking honepage. I have tried looking for the answer everywhere but to no avail. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. If It’s even possible.

apologies if this has already been brought up. i tried searching for it but i don’t really know what to call it so i can easily have missed it.

for a while now my firefox app has hidden my open tab when i leave the app, like it previously only did in private tabs. i’ve attached a screenshot to show what i mean. is this a new privacy feature and can i turn it off? i’ve tried to look through all my settings and uninstalled and reinstalled the app (in case it was a bug) but it still does this. i used to rely on getting a quick look at my open tab while flipping through apps so how it’s now hidden all the time is really inconvenient for me.

as shown in the picture i can't see the webpage anymore when i want to switch to another app. How can i turn this off because it is starting to get really annoying

Isn't there a toolbar for available the top of the Firefox window? I can't find how to set that up. How do I add the toolbar?

Why does Firefox mobile for iOS look different on my iPhone 13 pro max vs my wife's iPhone 12 pro max? both UTD on iOS version. I suspect that I must be missing something in settings, but cannot figure this out. See images below.

On my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Firefox app has the nice home button, tab button, and hamburger menu button on the bottom (address bar on top both cases). On my wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max, it has the "+" for new tab, the 3 dots instead of hamburger menu, and then the tab button. I much prefer the layout on my phone, as does my wife, but I cannot figure out how to change her layout to match mine.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I have been using Firefox on my iPhone for years without problems. But for about a week now if I’m on data it can’t load any websites, a message appears saying it cannot connect to server. It works fine when I’m on WiFi.

I want to sync my Firefox browser with my iPhone 17. Where do I find “ready to scan”?
