I only; selected the topic I did becaue none of trhe topics reallly come close. I want to know why you need a mobile ddecidce tro use syn. Why can'tyou sync two computers together or three? Why is italways presued people have a mobile defcice to the point where tech services become inaccessible o them I know that I can hood wink the computer into thinking that it is an iphone. But if sync only works computer to mobile device that would be pointless. Did it ever occur to the developers after rooms of focus groups and testers that someone might what to sync two computers? Is that crazy? What is wrong with everyone these days. I guess I'm asking if there's anyway to do it, but I"m pretty sure I already kw the answer and it will start with first take your mobile device... c'mon! If it is possible to sync w/o an iphone or an android someone please fill me in. Otherwise just know that your sync is misleading in terms of functionality. It shouldn't be a brick wall the way it is. Like having a computer isnt good enough, the whole world is focused on these stupid things. Children are slaving away in places most of us would be terrified to set foot in just to make this garbage. If all you had to do to end child slave labor is put down your i-phone(etc.).... So as a society we believe that child slave labor is ok. I'm getting off topic but that last bit just served to flesh out my frustration for people laughing at my flip-phone. What better way to fexude control over humanity besides influencing the culture? Actually, it's not that far fetched. You can take that ridicule an cram it back down your throats with the decades of CIA directives that crafted the culture making you think that way. Just watch a congressional hearing on the topic. If aliens can make ufos, how hard would it be to subtly influence us through mass-media.? ":They've been here a long time." If I seem overly verbose, that's just the side effect of a culture that doesn't like indulging thoughts that cant be represented by a tiny handful of syllables .. Ok ok. I did the new browser update. It wiped out all of the back ups of all of my profiles on my system in the User profiles. I need to get back the profile I was using yesterday. I need this urgently.

I'm always having ti "delete from history" time and time again and am tired of wasting my time trying and not succeeding to get rid of extra widgets just because I visit a site they show-up and I have no use for them because I already have established widgets that I use on my opening page! this matter is very frustrating.

Hi, I updated to latest mac os version tahoe, opened floorp hoping that it would restore tab and workspaces as i put them before and the notes in it.

But when i opened, it requested for me to refresh. And after i refresh and restart, my workspaces tab, FLoorp notes all disappeared ! I want to recover them! I have tried asking chatgpt to check about:profiles, and copying "Old Floorp Data" into the ~/Library/Application Support/Floorp/Profiles default profiles 1 and hoping it would recover, but i opened floorp, and still nothing,my notes gone and workplace tabs not there.

I would like a way to recover it please. I used this joseph.13ad, and was synced in Floorp/mozilla, so i dont understand especially for notes how it disappeared

My Firefox bookmarks, tool bar, bookmarks menu, etc. all disappeared apparently due to update 153. As stated, I use Windows 11 Pro but my Firefox apparently is telling me that I'm on Windows 10. This makes no sense to me but that is how I'm reading my screen. I have no idea if the update caused the disappearance of approx. 900 business-related bookmarks what happened other than things were fine one day and then 18 hours later all was gone.

I went through the well written article by "AliceWyman, Tonnes, Michael Verdi, scoobidiver, John99, Swarnava Sengupta, Jason, user669794, adampeebleswrites." I followed article text as best I could getting to my profile per the Application Basics, Open Folder and found three "sqlites." Here is where I get concerned because after following the article's direction, nothing happened.

I apparently created a new profile per no. 153, but I also (apparently) have profiles back to no. 147 per a list I saw onscreen -- but I cannot seem to do anything with that information when I click on those folders. Articles tell me that I can revert back to a prior profile, but I cannot do anything with these prior profiles. At this point I'm fearful of doing anything more.

What do I do now? The real question to me is whether anyone in the Mozilla support community knows of someone who can help over the phone or log in whether as a volunteer or paid consultant. The other question is whether Mozilla is capable of fixing this bookmark issue that apparently emanates from so-called updates. The articles appear to assume that Mozilla / Firefox have had this problem repeatedly in the past.

My Dell laptop with docking station and Firefox browser were working fine the evening of July 22 but on the afternoon of July 23 all my bookmarks on the toolbar were gone. I had not touched the laptop during that 16-20 hour interim. When not in use, I have my laptop off and unplugged. I also note (but cannot explain) that Mozilla has me contacting "my account" through Windows 10. I have not used Windows 10 in 3 years (or more). I have continuously used Windows 11 Pro during that time frame.

I have reviewed some of the articles and email exchanges between a volunteer and a Mozilla user whose bookmarks were also inexplicably deleted but found those exchanges confusing, Unfortunately, I'm concerned that I'll do something that further fouls up my system. Email is working fine (the new outlook) and the apps are working fine. Is there a way to recover my bookmarks toolbar? If not, please explain why. Also, since Mozilla seems to wipe out my bookmarks periodically (this is about the third time) what preventative measures are available.

I have uninstalled my Firefox ( as Firefox was set to my default browser across other browsers, including Chrome and Avast Secure browser etc would not allow me to open Google related searched websites ????)

can't have access to my system account anymore lot of sync can't even download anything anymore even my system just look like new or formatted one please i need much help or assistance to this

So I wanted to reinstall windows, I had Zen browser and Mozilla Account with syncing enabled (but I only had zen on my pc), and after reinstalling windows I downloaded zen again and got in my account and tried syncing it my literally nothing got synced, no passwords, no bookmarks, no history, and I got no file to manually back it up. Does that mean I lost all my data?

I’m using windows 11 and macOS Tahoe . The back up feature works in windows as advertised. When I came to the mac I searched in vain for the settings. I asked the AI chat bot were the settings are. There are none. I note on your web page you don’t support the mac and provide no information when this new feature will be available. This is a setback I strongly feel you should offer all features across all platforms. The browser marked is competitive and Firefox needs all the features to make Firefox stand out from all the others.
