Since a month or so, Firefox browser freezes when playing youtube videos. Simply closing the app and restarting won't do the trick, I am forced to open the WIN Task Manager and manually "end task" before I can watch youtube videos again ... until an hour later, or lucky a day later, the same drama unfolds. I run the newest version of each, Firefox and Windows 11. No new extensions or plugins have been added recently. What is to do here? I'm since Netscape on this route and would hate to switch to another browser... :-) Thanks in advance!

i even deleted ALL my bookmarks............I cant get rid of the ribbon across the top, no matter how many times i try. And now I see, the bookmarks live on even after I deleted all of them yesterday.

I have been using Firefox for a long time without any problem. An update was loaded onto my laptop and now when I try to sign on through my iPhone when I go to menu, there is no selection to sign in. And as a result, I am pretty much dead in the water.

Hello there, today was released a new version of firefox. downloading it not only crashed my computer, it also removed all my history and bookmarks. is there any way to revert this?

My browser has been hacked by searchingswift.com, I've read all the article's I can find on getting rid of it with no luck. I've completely uninstalled everything including the mistake that brought it in (Coverseen miss pick file), but no luck.

Here's what I get after a complete reinstall and deleting any Firefox stuff I can find.

Using the certificate manager, add exception does not work too, it just refuses to store the certificate. But at least THERE I can VIEW the certificate, which proves it is valid and FIREFOX is at fault:

Yet Firefox does not even give me the "Continue anyway" possibility. This it tiering, I hate using google chrome based browsers, but of course, it works there. I've been trying to open Google Docs on Firefox Desktop for a few hours and none of my troubleshooting has worked thus far. I've cleared my browser history and cache, have updated Firefox, disabled all browser extensions one by one, updated my proxy settings, changed my TLS preferences, and even added Google Docs to my trusted sites list on my computer itself; none of this has worked. I've been able to open Google Docs on Google Chrome, so I know that it isn't a problem on Google's end. If there are any other possible solutions, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can Firefox do anything to recover all of the downloads I'd saved until I accidentally had CCleaner erase everything? I don't know what else was deleted, but getting them back would be a big help.

The most recent Firefox update (145.0) lacks the convenience of easily editing the cookie collection that tells websites about me. The feature I'm referring to was under settings - privacy and security - and then something about cookies. It allowed me to show what sites had collected cookies on me recently and to erase any private data they had collected.

I hope this was an oversight or the feature has simply been moved to another location. If not, I'd really like to roll back the latest update and pause any further updates until the old functionality is restored to the new updates.

Can anybody help me?
