Maybe settings?

I started getting a different login screen for yahoo and so I was on the lookout for the https:// that would ensure I'm at a real website. I noticed that I don't get any https:// on anything in my FF esr 140. Even if I enter it with the address, it disappears as soon as I click to open the website. I tried out Edge and the https:// is there. Is there some reason this is being removed in FF, as it is something reassuring and doesn't take up much space.

I want to transfer three FOLDERS from Firefox bookmarks to Chrome, then to Edge.

All the single bookmarks are transferred, but the Folders do not transfer.

These three folders contain hundreds of E-Bay searches.

I am trying to move these three folders to E-Bay as E-Bay seems broken for several days.

Sometimes the first folder will open all searches, but if you click on an item, receive access violation.

A real chore to break out the individual searches, transfer to Edge, then rebuilt the folders.....

Appreciate any advice!!!

This new issue is puzzling:

Normally, on MacOS, when you minimize an app that's currently running and occupying the desktop, say by clicking the orange button at top left or by clicking another app, its menu would disappear from the top toolbar and other apps could then be invoked. Clicking that app icon again would restore it to the screen and its menu would again be on the top toolbar.

But Firefox has stopped allowing that behavior: Now, when I try to minimize Firefox, while its screen minimizes (revealing the desktop underneath), its menu remains on the top toolbar. It is as if Firefox refuses to let go of the controls. So, while you can see the other icons on the desktop - say file folders - they are unresponsive to clicks and do not open when you click them, as if Firefox is not letting you access File Manager.

Furthermore, you can still access these desktop file folders, but only by opening the finder using the bottom toolbar menu, not by clicking the file icons directly.

For what it's worth, all menus are still responsive (bottom toolbar, top toolbar, apple menu), just nothing that's on the desktop responds when Firefox is still running, despite being minimized.

After latest update Firefox Developer Edition 151.0 Beta 4 I noticed much slower website loading while using few containers at the same time and overall more lag. Before the update everything was great and smooth I hope it's gonna get fixed soon.

I just purchased this laptop, supposedly running W11. Since installing FF on it, I have been having two windows open. The first is listed as original profile. Either a few seconds later or some time later, another window opens. With it, a VPN opens. The best I can tell, the original profile may or may not have a VPN open.

I actually prefer the second one, since it is most like the W10 FF I had. The original is blank except for the FF search window.

Why is this happening?

Also, please be patient and treat me like a newbie. It took a long time for me to get W10 and this is completely new to me. Even basic things are taking time to find now.

I know this is probably impossible to restore but I might as well ask, No I do not have backuped files on my computer, I already have the username, I was just going to ask if there was a way I can find the password for the account. I understand if that is a impossible task so thanks either way if you cannot help with my problem.

REPEATING IMAGES involving . Macbook Air M4 Tahoe 26.2

When sliding from the primary Mac screen to another on the same computer the Firefox image (and ONLY that image) is duplicated on each additional screen image loaded making the use of multiple screens virtually useless.

Is it possible to hide the green "New" label next to new features, such as the current "Add Split View" example? There should be an option for the label to be automatically removed once the feature has been used at least once.

I have a Firefox account. I am logged into my Firefox account on both my desktop and mobile phone. I want to sync them. I cannot do it. I press the three horizontal bars and it does not work.

Greetings! I've been a Firefox evangelist for a long time! I'm having issue with my Dell Precision 5530 pushing Firefox audio to a Bluetooth speaker connected to PC. Others browsers work fine, however FF wants to use the speakers on my monitor, connected via HDMI. I've tried to change several times, however FF does not want to use the BT.

Can you please help?

Mac Tahoe 26.4. Any attempt to download or upload results in a file chooser/picker/browser panel that shows part of the finder interface but not all. Can't interact with it besides switching between sidebar items, no files visible, can't close or exit this window, can't interact with anything else. The only active button on the top of the window is the fullscreen button. Have to force quit firefox every time.

I tried troubleshoot mode and it did nothing. There is a workaround for some download links where I can open them in another tab and they automatically download without opening the window. Drag and drop options seem to work for uploads when they're available.

I took screenshots and was going to attach them, but this problem prevents me from doing that. This browser's sorta bricked for me at the moment.

I was gifted with the latest upgrade, and all of my passwords and bookmarks have been lost. I signed in with both of my primary emails, and both are acting as if they are new accounts.
