Hello,

The Firefox I was using was crushed entirely and lost all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. The app's folder is not accessible. Then I downloaded a new version, and when I tried to open the app, a dialogue box said Firefox was trying to install a helper. Cancel does not work, and the "OK" stops the opening. I have a Mac with an OS Sequoia 15.

I tried to transfer the json, place.., key4, etc by copying from the old information i have, but the system does not work.

I was thinking use clear data to free up some space for my storage, so I sync with sync 0 min ago display. I log back in, everything disappear. Little stressed. Anyway to get back my data?

Other info: Before press sync, did display sync 3 min ago, after press sync, display sync 0 min ago

Account only use on Android, doesn't sync to other device

I previously downloaded Thunderbird earlier this year. Somehow, I got things glitched and got locked out, so I bailed out and deleted Thunderbird.

Now, I've decided to try Thunderbird again, and I just downloaded it AGAIN (and made another donation), but I'm still locked out - can't get ANYWHERE with Thunderbird.

Thunderbird cannot setup Outlook mailbox after upgrade to Windows 11

clearing passwords from the credentials caches in TB and windows makes no difference. Changing the password for the Outlook mail account and verifying it makes no difference.

No problem with 14 Gmail account accounts

Outlook and Thunderbird are a buggy pair. They will waste hours of your time. Experts will tell you that you’re an idiot and it’s really simple. But they can’t describe how to simply start from scratch and add an Outlook account. They just assume it works naturally for everybody because it worked for them. Maybe it does work 60% of the time. Good luck plan to spend a frustrating evening and then think about something other than Microsoft and Mozilla.

Why can’t we open facebook on your platform anymore, it’s really not working anymore anytime I tried to open a facebook account now it won’t work after putting in codes to confirm the new facebook account

I think it was downloaded December 2023, never updated (for fear of losing tabs).... In Late November 2025 (recently), I opened a link in my FaceBook app (as usual, not the first time, at all), the link followed to the FireFox app and only that page appeared in my tabs- ALL OF MY TABS that were building and being saved for 2 years just suddenly vanished, and, quietly!!!!

I am using a tablet and I it has never been rooted.... I do have some knowledge in Windows data recovery, managing sessions through Windows/Android platforms through extensions, JSON files, and the Windows backup folders....

Can anyone help me, based on all info provided????

There is an old question just like this here and the answer doesn't work for me.

I would like to see my tasks appear on my calendar ie a task due on the 26th should show up alongside any appointments I have in that date slot. Google Calendar does this.

The answer to the question linked to above says to use View - Calendar - Current View - Tasks in view

I have those options and I tried them. Nothing. I have a task with a date and time on it and I am looking in the calendar for the right date and I don't see it. Is this feature still working? Is there something else I need to do to turn it on?

I used gem site and every time i have to fill user name manual...and for this reason i have to chek my notebook for fill user name..but in chrome u just time initial and ur user name will apper ..how would we add this feature...u have automatic fill password but not user name

Hi, Please help with my issue: There are 2 Firefox browsers running on my Windows 10 desktop. How can I find one to delete it. My CPU is running very high in Task Manager. i cant play sound from firefox ive tried restarting my computer, disabling my adblocker, everything i can think of its not my headphones, they work fine with files on my computer im having the same problem with davinci resolve too please someone help i dont know what to do anymore

I have tried to make a new folder and it never shows up. I then tried to create a sub folder and it never showed up. I don't know how to fix this problem. I started Thunderbird in troubleshooting mode and still could not fix the problem

This is a privacy problem, because most of the time when I open a website like google.com, I don't want to be logged in so the website can identify me. I only keep a container tab for such a website around, so I can open it if I explicitly want to be logged in.

nord vpn from desktop icon gives the normal pop up in pic 1. next pic when you go to log in you get the with screen in pic 2. if you try log in from a link nord sent in trouble shooting you get pic 3. if you go to crap browsers like chrome and edge it works fine, but we are removing those programs next weeks for security reasons. so i need this to work on firefox. reinstalled nord with no fix. worked fine 11-2925 but not now 11-30-25

Hi Community,

Whenever I am shopping online on my Macbook (MacOS Sierra 15.7.2) Firefox will begin to freeze and then hang on the checkout page. I notice this happens most often with Shop/Shopify websites. Can someone help? This behavior seemed to begin this year about 6 months ago. I end up having to go Safari and reload my page, find the items again, and then I can check out. So problem is something about Firefox and my machine.

Today, all of a sudden, I lost my usual browser window that displayed all my bookmarks. The browser window looked completely different in a bad way and I have lost quick access to my most familiar sites. Moreover, the page displays sponsored ads, none of which is either of my choosing or of my liking. I am completely disoriented and Firefox has greatly disappointed me. Please help!

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

Hey Forum, 2 problems.

1. 1. - I have been having some problems w/my paypal account. Someone has been trying to hack into it. Twice in two weeks. I talked to a paypal tech and was told that they are accessing my emails. And she advised changing my email password. I have use Tbird for several years and don't remember having a password. But if I do, where is it, and how do I change it?
2. 2 - For awhile now I have been getting an error message when trying to send an email. (I can recieve, but not send). it says: "Enter your password for ***********@suddenlink.net on smtpsuddenlink.net" Where would I find such a password and where is smtpsuddenlink.net? Also could the above problem be related to this one? They started about the same time.
