Internet closes and requires network security pass key
Windows 8 ... Firefox 23.1 ........ After 15 minutes of no activity, internet connection is lost. Have to then use the very long NETWORK SECURITY KEY to sign back on to internet connection. How can I keep internet connection from automatically shutting down?

hello, i don't think that this is an issue that might be related to firefox in particular. please consult your internet service provider or network administrator - this will give you a better chance to get an answer that can solve your problem.
Internet is Verizon FIOS and this is simply just a home PC (not a true network as you so believe). Need to know what settings to change so that internet does not automatically shut down. Also want internet to automatically connect at start up without having to use NETWORK SECURITY KEY.
