Hi,

I have at the moment dual boot, old windows xp sp3 installation and new one windows 7 64 bit. The problem is because menu drop down is really irritating in windows 7, this is flicking, unreadable etc. Problem easy can be solved if I choose compatibility mode with xp sp3 in windows 7 but in this case appear another irritating problem : Each firefox start is followed with windows 7 security question "do you want to allow this program to make change". What is firefox trying to write and where in this case and how I can disable this ?

That happen with couple last version of firefox, currently 17.0.1

Thank you in advance, Dejan
